A new Bravo.

I decided to take Sparks advice, and create something. I found the old Bravo Online levels. And this is what I have been doing for the past 3 days. (Spent a few hours each day).
What're your comments to this, what did you like about old Bravo, and what would you like to see?

Would you like a battle system like GK?
Bring back the essences and make sence of them?
Make another Unholy Nation?

You decide, thanks.

Useing the name of a past playerworld might help in it's popularity, but the fact remains that all you talk about in your post is copying other servers. "like GK" and "make another UN" lol, I really don't think Spark ment that we need another copy-cat playerworld on the list.

If you're going to make this playerworld origional and good quality, then good luck. Otherwise, there's enough classic playerworlds on the list, no need for another one to spread the playercount out even more.

Actually, I quite like the idea. Looking form the map, the levels seem simplistic aswell, not of this fancy crap I'm used to. Anyway, good luck and contact me on AIM with details on how things are running.

I agree.Bravo has been remade about 50 times, but no one has managed to bring it back from the first time it was shut down besides once and that was bravo evolved.It will be a great Adventure remaking a classic server with the tiles and new scripting commands we have today.I'am sure if anyone can do it Snakeandy will be that individual.

Overall, I would love to see more of classic servers on the classic list that we all Enjoyed at one time and played graal for hours on in.

I also agree that Snakeandy can do a great job in bringing back the server which we all loved at one point. It will be great to play the old bravo with some of the people that remember it. I'm glad that Snakeandy intends to keep bravo the same, while fixing all its problem areas. The old bravo in an up-to-date state would actually make me a player again..

Your mistaking it.
That wasn't Bravo at all, it was Andor a Server made by Symbonia.which was also a great PW that never went any where.But i like Snakes idea with Bravo Classic.Bravo Classic had 200+ players at one time and it will be great to see this happen again.

Andor was probably the best PW on the list, in my opinion.

Old one would be awesome. I'm not sure if it has some of the tiles at the far end of the current tileset, though.

Is it possible that we can make it so the player can choose the tileset he/she wants to use? I know it can be scripted, but what I wasn't sure if the tiles where in the same location on the images.

You can't remake a server like Bravo, because it doesn't have the same players as it originally did. All of my friends played on Bravo, it won't be the same without them.

You can remake bravo, you just can not remake the players that played it. It could be same levels and with an entirely different set of people, be even better or worse than it was before.

Agreed. A large part of Bravo was based upon community.

Exactly why I never bothered to bring back Mithica. It would be classic Mithica, with new people. No one cared about the levels back then, it was just a big community. *sigh*

I don't exactly support bringing back old playerworlds, constantly revamping them, but if you really want to bring back Bravo, go ahead.

Why is a snow level suddenly introduced with no sign of it being cold in that region of the map at all?

I realize it's incomplete, but unless the entire bottom half is a snow-region, and you, well, so to speak, blend it in with the nearby part of the map, then you're just making another level - nothing special.

Snow will be based on the high ground, hence the huge cliff.
You havn't seen anything yet, I have huge plans for Bravo. I just didn't see where to put the snow town, I thought it would fit there I was wrong.

Who says "I'm trying" to re-vamp it? you're right. Why does it concern you? If you don't want to play Bravo don't play it.
The only new stuff you will see for Bravo is the new NPCs. There will be the old ones, there will be an econemy what is stable. Same old HP system, same MP system, more use of the essences.

Now there seems to be two problems here:

1) Scrawby is completely in the wrong place.

2) It has been discussed through the PWA (MoodGod) before and the verdict was that "Bravo" wasn't to use the Scrawby levels, and tiles that I made. The reason being, simply: it's changed so many times, "Bravo" isn't Bravo anymore.

Is Scrawby on another server right now? No.
It's on Bravo and it's copyright of Graal, not you. Sorry.
And this is new Bravo, things need to change else it wouldn't get online. I would like to see what the other PWA state about us using Scrawby. It was for Bravo in the first place, why shouldn't we use it? because it is yours?
