Suggestions and ideas to play with =P

Spellmasters...

We all know them as the people...who...do...spells and stuff. And alchemy...yeah... In many occasiones, magic and alchemy is needed in the heat of battle when not even the sharpest of blades can pierce through the AC of an opponent. Many have a weakness to magic due to the rings they are wearing and the god they pray to. CP does not specialize in magic, and we need to depend on the individuals who have devoted themselves to these practices when the time calls for them. These people possess many spells and recipies to provide the kingdom with the needed supply and protection.



Spellmaster- (same as before basically)
A magic users who uses a various number of spells and alchemy to help the kingdom and for fighting. A spell caster who has devoted themselves to studying the ancient arts and perfecting them in every manner. Alchemy usually focuses on potions or armour which can be useful in defence or healing. A spellcaster is usually social with a sense of justice within the kingdom. Spellmasters can train apprentices and help them learn the ways, but the final test must be administered by the ruler of the kingdom.

Dark Spellmaster-
A magic user who uses a various number of spells and alchemy intent on destroying, maiming, poisoning, and cursing opponents. Spells like desecrate, curse, mass confusion, and destruction are highly recommended. Alchemy should be focused on strengthening and creating things that will be useful in obliterating the opponent should a battle arise. A dark spellmaster may appear to be cold, as the darkness has set around there heart. They are not necessarily evil, but can seem at some times. They feel more apt to take shelter in the darkness in the shadows rather than bother with the irritating rays of light. It is a Dark Spellmasters duty to attempt to aquire raw power in both alchemy and the arcane studies so inflict their wrath should war come. They may train apprentices in their ways and following the darker side of magic, but the final test must be administered by the ruler of the kingdom.

A Heraldic Pirate eh? I guess it doesn't really betray the Pirate look, but you might want to re-think the fact that the Herald's would be part of the actual Pirate ministry, seeing as to how they would be either hired, slaves, or ceasing power over the Pirate Lord (Mayor, w/e).

I think it sounds nice, would add KILLER RP if CP knew anything about that -- not counting you Rae Rae

Pirates dont need spellmasters or magic... God, role playing is so easy as a pirate but they still do it wrong..

I think I was using Ghost Pirate's ranking system for this (magic people) when I was around and in charge. I don't know what's happened to it. Obviously a leader must have removed it since then- there's been several. A lot of the good things/concepts/ideas have been removed and ignored from Pirates- even great stuff that was from GP himself.
