Auras

Yea, I was just thinking on the idea of auras given to you as spells by gods, specifically what they are weak against maybe could help. Resistance Auras would be very helpful too, and they should cost no mana....Is that good?

Auras in the WC3 sense? Where you'd get to glow with a holy light and radiate bonuses to all friends around you?

Well if you think about it, you get an aura that raises resistances up form your gods for a certain amount of time :P

Omy, there are already resistance to <fire, ice, lightning, poison, magic, etc etc> prayers about, they don't cost that much to cast and they are quite effective.

Omy, that's the Diablo 2 paladins :O but it could be on WC3 since i've never played, and blizzard, y'know.

I think it would be cool if every kingdom had five or six Auras that they could give to high rank people...Like, say for Ana as Queen of Dustari, she'd get one of Dustari's two Regal Auras, which would give...like...Cha +1 (Because of the whole regal beauty thing), Con +1 (People would fight longer to protect her), etc....But like...Edwin would have Dustari's Magic Aura with Pow and Int +1, Resist Magic +10, giving all those bonuses to friends or allies around either of them.

As for the aura's described here
There is already the god's blessing and holy possession
They raise certain resistances just like I see suggested
Maybe damaging auras would be interesting
Balor of course with his fire aura
Leuctonius with electric aura
Ogma with poison aura
and so on with happiness
