Strange Head Transparency Problem

Last night I began constructing my outfit for the Demigod family, and I ran into some very odd problems with the head. The only 3 colors in the head are black (0, 0, 0), white (255, 255, 255) and light gray (192, 192 192). The first transparency value I attempted was salmon (255, 128, 128). That color is not even close to any of the others. I set the transparency successfully, got it uploaded on Delteria, and when I set my head, it came up fine for about 5 seconds, but then the white on the head became transparent. I got it uploaded on other servers, and once again it has the odd transparency problem. I then set the transparency to what it is now, sea green (128, 255, 128). Same problem. Yes, I did delete the head from my heads folder several times to refresh the cache, but it is still the same? What is wrong here? I'll attach the head file.

Same thing happens...
When I'll get one of the revised heads uploaded, after deleting the old one from my heads folder, I'll log on and it'll be fine, but then when I close out Graal and bring it back up, it has that wierd transparency...

are you using version 3 of graal?
v3 doesnt recognize transparency on alot of gfx. it has alot of problems other than just that

Nope. I think it has to do with some kind of cache. It'll show up perfect after I delete it, but once I reconnect, it has the same error. Wierd...someone helppp.

Are you using the gif2mng program that comes with graal's devpack? As a rule I always convert my gifs to pngs using that tool to insure that it is compatible with the graal client.

Yes I am.
This is so confusing, I have it uploaded on about 4 playerworlds, and it's a mess of cache and confusion, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, I don't think we'll ever get this figured out.

I like the head, too.

i never use gif2mng. but alot of my gfx dont have transparecny on v3... its wierd. they work fine on v2+

i don't use solid white/black anymore because that happens

I thought of that, could it be something wrong with solid white and black? It's wierd though, because the color made transparent is light gray.

lol no problem..you gotta drag the original over the program, and it'll spit the correct type of png back out at the same directory the original image was located at.

I'm still waiting to see if that head worked or not for Thallen..

It didn't work, but I see what you did, you made my black 8, 8, 8. I gave in on trying to fight with the Graal graphicing system, and made all my colors a significant number of hues of the true color, and it works now.

Heh, I also started it all over. I copy pasted the image into paint, changed the shade of black, and then went through my normal process of saving to gif and then converting to png, hoping it might fix some sort of problem you maybe have ran across when saving your original. That was as a backup incase the problem was not the black.
