The level is medicore at best , very little detail , the palm trees look out of place they do not blend with this type of level. It's like trying to blend an old style of Graal to a more modern type. Lacks imagination and style , it's more thrown together to me. If this is his best example of his/her work, I would not hire them for any high postion , they still have much to learn about level making , blending of levels and developing their own style, maybe as a entry level Lat .

Even with the palm trees and the old style level, it still could be blended to make it look ok, if it is done right that is. But this level clearly lacks in that area and nothing blends in at all. It's not that bad of a level it's just lacks planning on what is to be there, where to place things and so on and why I said this person has a lot to learn yet. They do have potential just not the skill yet, in time they may develop into a very good Lat.

Have the snapshot in the zenkou tileset might not look so cheap (on how he did the sandpath, why I asked him to post it in the tileset). The tile errors might not be there on the Zenkou tileset, another reason why I asked..
But if it is a pics1 level, no.

It would look fine with the darkness of the Zenkous tileset (assuming I'm thinking of the right PW...x.x)..it makes bad levels look okay, and really good levels...also look okay

=(

Everyone has to start somewhere , you guys are too critical of people who are starting out and clearly this person is a beginner at levels. Best way to learn is keep doing it and work with those who are good, learn the tricks of the trade so to speak. Encouragement will help them get better not being rude and unkind about it. As I said he would be ok as an entry level Lat so he can learn from better Lats on what and how to make better levels.

LATing is one of the most popular spots for beginning development on this game. (I think). If too many people come out and become elite, us decent/good level makers will lose value :[!

No, you'll just have to get better to beat them.

How could you get better o_O! Unless you use an overrated style the majority likes and is hard to do it will be hard.
