Just a query

For the new servers that were put in the 'hosted tab', did the PWAs that approved them have to write up reviews that was sent to Spark or did they just check it out and said "pass"?

I'm asking this because I think the players have a right to read reviews and find out why these servers were passed. Some are not even finished and can do nothing more than walk around aimlessly, I'd like to know why they were passed.. Also, the reason why I first started frequenting the forums was to read the latest server review, since I found it enjoyable, and I was writing game reviews myself for a website at the time..

What I'm trying to say is, let us read the server reviews once again!

They got inspected by PWA/GST.
If you want a review I guess you can contact spark or anyother PWA member for information on the server and why they passed it, I guess they won't mind.

No. It was sorted out between I, Stefan and Loriel.
GST inspecting for release to hosted is no longer a necessity if there is little time for them to do so. GST is busy with GK and what not, and the team is too small to always help, yet I set and wish to meet deadlines.

While inspected we look at the playerworlds, suggest improvements and identify problems along the way. Discussion occurs in the PWA forums and mini reviews, if you like, are formed. However there are not really reviews like there used to be.

Those visible are either there to show off what they have or get them noticed for staff.

Ah I don't think he was complaining so much as explaining.

Angel, Loriel and PS were included so far. You would have been if you were on at the time. Also I was explaining, and saying your too busy with other things, it seems.

Everyone has different taste in PWs, just because you may not like it doesn't make it a good canidate for a Server on hosted or Classic. Not all liked Zone but others did and it is not the place for the PWA to judge all PWS to have them all clones of one another. Being different is not a reason for being "trashed" because of it and not all PWs want to make a "new tileset".

There are very few "original concepts" made lately but you know what all new PWs have something original about them, you just may have to look a little harder to find them. Many on Graal like the "old stuff" and they have the right to play what they wish in the style they wish. The players will decide what will fail and what will not and it is not always based on new concepts or ideas.

From what I've seen so far I actually like 'em more than some of the things under the classic tab.

MY OPINION > ALL MUAHAHAHA.....no. What the hell did I say that implied that?

I don't really get whether or not you're trying to state originality is bad or good The reason I said they are "ewww" is because they seem all like clones except for the tile-set. They really aren't THAT bad but being different/original is a huge bonus in my opinion. Don't you think there's enough servers with "old stuff"?

What's with the emphasis on the "new tileset" thing - dude, I mean I wanna see something gameplay wise and such that make 'em stand out, the tile-set difference is quite insignificant to me. Graal 2001 uses the same tile-set as Adventure and many Classic PWs and it's my favorite server ^-^

Zone...*sigh* I want Zone back

MG, tell me something I don't know?

Edit: Furthermore Nitkizi is right, there isn't even much to see x.x

I see quite a few good, promising servers....everyone paying for server space deserves a chance, there is a large variety of taste on Graal....I agree though, there are alot of players who prefer the classic style like myself, but that shouldnt count out others preferences either. Some people might really like one servers style, while others hate it...nothing more than an opinion, depending on your personal preferences. I personally wish everyone luck who puts up a server, and hope they do well, and I would never bash them, or tell them they have nothing to look at. Eh, that's just common decency.

*shrug* When I said "Furthermore Nitkizi is right, there isn't even much to see x.x" I didn't mean it in an offensive way. I'm being literal; there's only a handful of levels, npcs, etc x.x

Yes, that's why I'm asking if we can see the reviews..because I enjoy reading them, and I'd like to know why they were put in the hosted tab anyway when we don't get to see anything besides some levels..

I personally asked you to go help them fix the things Loriel had a problem with.

"obsoleteexistanz (4:27:11 PM): i dont really wanna go and redo a bunch of systems x.X"

You declined because you didn't want to help.

As for being larger... what's that have to do with anything? The size of the team has little to nothing to do with wether they're busy or not... Sounds like "Team envy" mines bigger!!
