Duplication of Items bug

About an hour and a half ago, while trying to trade in bomboria trade place, all my items were duplicated somehow. This is a bug that should be fixed immediately..

What I believe happened is something happened to the npc server when I went to accept a trade. When that happened, all my stats were set to 0(0/0 health, 0 speed, etc) and all my items were gone. They were laying on the ground where I was standing, and I couldn't pick them up. People ran to me like a fly on poo to pick up my items. Now, their is someone running around with a third orc shield, someone who has gained a free fid, free dustari boots, free havoks, etc..

Luckily, Tseng was there to handle the situation. He got most of the items back from one person, but the main good items are still gone. All my stats and items came back when i reconnected. But, the other items that were dropped earlier were still around. This should be fixed immediately.

Kind of odd that this would happen, though.

I've seen it happen a long time ago to Brad. While in that state you can also PK while on peaceful mode.

It's really rare and an odd occurence :o

I'm glad this happened, when I told them about it happening to Brad in the past they said it wasn't possible

Is it just me or didn't Brad and Nappa both have a Orc shield when this happend... Something could be wrong with the vaule the Orc shield is set at in the code. ::This is a entier guess.::

And today, again this happens to me. Though today, my items didnt duped. It set all my stats to 0 and stuff. After I reconnected, my 7068 plat was gone, though. Tseng wasn't on all day to reimburse me or anything. Jagen just sat there and told me that it isn't possible.

I've managed to obtain the duped shield. and I'll be delivering it to Tseng tommorow night. ( Staff meeting and then work all day, so I can't do it any sooner)

i was there wen nappa stats went all to 0... so its possible, and like 2-3 more guys saw it

And this is another reason why GK should never have been released from Beta version. Because the players think it done now, and Stefan shouldn't reset it. How hard can it be to fix these bugs and open another server for people who want to play there. The players who want to play the old server can, but it won't be updated anymore. That is what Stefan said he was doing.

This happened to me once, except my items didn't dupe. I was on my way to an event on zormite with about 10 other people and when I hit the zone line and my character went inside the boat and almost everything went to 0. I could hardly move also. I reconnected and I was fine.

In Graal2002 Alpha, before the kingdoms had been organized when everybody still ran around on start island, I think I rememeber ending up with an extra diamond sword and some extra logs after the npcserver went down and came back up..

The problem was fixed

although it is funny to occasionally see people try to sell me my duped items. Jagen let some of the crappy ones stay out there.
