No but the animation should be the same as any other flaming sword.

Consider this Jagen...someone blessing that to dianceht or so making it blind+poison then using holy possession with another God for yet a third status problem (possibly Aengus for slow/confuse or Balor for Fear >_>) I don't think any weapon should come with a status like attacktype unless there's an unlimited stock and it's unprepare-able. Hell, I'd prefer if they didn't at all but knowing how the majority of the players are they'd unthoughtfully say "omg lawl yes that would rox."

Well the Thunder Sword is basicly the Lightning Sabre with a different graphic...I feel sorry for whoever traded for Lightning Sabre recently...since it's so ugly :o

The Ice sword should be renamed to Blizzard because calling it the Ice Flaming Sword sounds stupid...

I think electricity as attack is okay, I just don't like the gfx... I think it should be yellow, and have at least 2 different sparks running over it... at different speed, maybe (i.e. one frame for 10 hundredths, one for 20...)

As for attacktypes, I think there's an unbalance regarding the used attacktypes/resistances - anyone ever used acid? Vitriol will, ans the effects it has on CF would be devastating here, as there are no craftable bracers and cancellation has been removed. There's prescious few ghosthit, and the same goes for holy word... I'd love a Molten Blade, dealing acid damage, and I believe it'd add diversity, if there are enough means to defend yourself. But as Chris said, attacktypes can become a problem. What a boout this, a weapon with more than 3 attacktypes can't be blessed - i.e. physical, some attacktype hardwired into it, and a blessing - weapons with more can neither be blessed nor prepped, and holy posession doesn't apply with them. This would limit it a bit, and adding some runes with a little resistance would add the possibility to defend better... I believe this can work - if done properly - meet the bottleneck...

Sword of Frost or Frost sword instead of Ice Flaming sword

And instead of Thunder Sword... how about Energy Sword and take out the physical attacktype... or you can make it poison and change the name to Venom Sword... or name it Vine Sword and give it Slow and Poison... or ... hmm... out of ideas

Amagad, noway, i love the thunder sword. I chose it first over the flaming ice sword (even though i got the FIS afterwards anyway o_o) because A)It looks nicer* and B)Everyone uses the FIDs and has cold resist and stuff.

*While it does look nicer and more original than the other flaming swords, i agree with satrek in that it should be made yellow. When i saw it i was like "Wtfs, i've never seen green electricity before..."


The Thunder Sword shouldn't be changed; how many weapons do you know that have lightning on them? There is only one other lightning eventweaponthat i know of, and not many people use leuc-blessed weapons.

Instead, you should change the graphics of the ice sword to be transparent and possibly a different colour, like white or very light gray, and make it do GHOSTHIT damage! O_O

No idea. If it was removed, then that -sucks-. Re-add it, or keep the blade graphics the same and make it do acid damage instead. Not poison. I'd like -something- at least different from cold and fire damage =/
If this isn't possible, then stick with lightning. Lightning is nice
