So he's gone. He says he'll back in a while, though I am rather unsure of what "a while" constitutes.

maybe he hasn't been signing on graal lately so he didn't know that his time was running low. or maybe he just never payed attention to his time left.

That's exactly what happened. He hasn't opened Graal in a while so he didn't know how much time he had left.

maybe he just never looked at his time. the time meter doesn't exactly draw attention. or maybe he doesn't have to sign on graal to develop for oasis, ever think of that?
