Pwa

It time stefan decided who will be the new leader of the PWA...

As much as i know thus far, there is only Spark, and Houndiniman.
Those 2 have been around graal for a long time.

But with these 100sum odd playerworlds now, 2 people isnt cutting it. I think maybe its time to hire some more PWA. People that have been around for a long time, that know what is stolen, fake, and other stuff along that line.

Come on stefan, the playerworlds need more inspection.

Apparently someone was deciding, but I dont know what happened.

I agree that we need more people on the team, and was hoping someone would be appointed head of the PWA to be able to hire, or someone would take Nems GM job, so they could hire.

I agree, someone needs to be named the head of the PWA, and they need to hire more members
=/
maybe not a whole lot at once... maybe hire like 2 more to start with, then after a month of training, then they could hire 3 new ones, and train those 3... and so-on

also, when will the PWA start to judge servers based on their quality, and send some public, and others that are low-quality, private? (to and from the third group)

Stefan said he needs to have a meeting with the PWA about that, about what to do for it etc. So I will ask him again soonish. Problem is getting all 3 online at the same time. But I would have thought it should have started a month after the first PW came online, from renting.

How would a Head PWA person be choosen?

Based on Activity?

Intelligence?

Logic?

Maturity?

Maybe a Community vote?

Most likely Stefan or Unixmad will pick there most trusted Playerworld Admin.

Don't need another Nemesis.

Most probably they would be featuring all of those. Maturity would be a nice recommendation, I would suppose . Logic, probably would fall under a wisdom or intelligence trait. Activity would deal it it, and I'm sure Human Relations is a plus.

You can't really say that.

Uh. That doesn't excuse what he did.

She's not 'co-owner', and I am not 'owner' - Neither of us has any legal 'ownership' of the server. I am the Manager, and she is my assistant. I don't see why that would have to change, but I suppose the decision would be up to her.

I'd be intrested in joining the team if you guys begin to hire.
..And I thought Stefan made it clear after the Nemesis inciddent that nobody would have that much power ever again ^_^.

As far as I know, PWA members can not work on any PW's...
(that has been the standing rule for a while)
which means i think Angel would have to quit her staff job, just like she had to quit her manager job on Era when she wanted to be a PWA member.

But who sets the PWA guidelines? The GM/Head PWA. -_-

I guess, but Spark told me that as of now they are still following the guidlines set by Nem, till they are told new ones...

And it does make sence that PWA members should not be able to work for PW's, because otherwise they might become biased when judging servers, to see if they should go to/from the 3rd group.

Hey,

I'm pretty happy with my job now hehe. Me and spark do alot of work together like writting the rules together. I would want him to be head of PWA. He is really mature for his age and does alot of work when he can. But I work for home and I only time I am away from computer is at night when im out with friends or sometime all day. and I think I am trusted by most players so alot of them come to me. I do more work on graal than I do on my company .

Anyway thank you for suggesting me but it really is up to unixmad and I'm not gonna ask for the job cause I'm pretty happy with my job now cause I get to do a bit of everything .

Hah, I know how you feel. I feel a lot the same about my job hehe :P. I still think you'd be the most capable for leading the PWA, though. Spark would also do well.

Nah, and im really not just being belligerent. As far as what i was told by aftershock and nemesis Angel quit the PWA because she quote "couldn't handle authority" unquote... while i don't necessarily stand behind this, most people aren't content with PWA because it's a large demotion of power. It's been observed in the past that Angel seems to go where the power is... I think making her PWA Admin when she isn't in the PWA in the first place would be a stupid move.

And Tseng - save your breath. I don't think i could do it better, i don't know, i've never tried. You can insult me like you always do but i really don't care what you think Spark is the best choice for the job and i support him fully. If im chosen for some reason i'll take a crack at it, but i would cast my vote for Spark before i'd vote myself in.

hehe not true. Aftershock wasn't even in PWA when I was. I was the only one in PWA apart from Nemesis. Second of all I dont wanna be PWA Admin. Why? Cause I already do alot more than just PW Work. I didn't ask for people to suggest me but I feel honored that people would select me ^_^. Spark should be PWA in my honest opinion. I mean I've even suggested it to unixmad.

Eeeeek! Hold up. I go where the power is? The most "power" I've had is Level 1 Global RC. That gives me... the ability to logon players. And sometimes not even warpto. All I need is to logon to a playerworld when there is a issue. If someone else needs to be done I contact Unixmad or Tyhm. Please dont try to make me look bad Houdiniman.

Like i said, im just going on what he and nem told me or speculated... Besides, PWA Admin would result in a demotion rights-wise for you wouldn't it?...

I don't want to be PW Admin.
Not cause of anything to do with rights or any of that. But because Spark would be good at it. and I am very happy with the work I do now.

Why you haven't been removed yet eludes the rest of us.

All you seem to think about is power, no matter what's going on.

I would apply if the chance was given, but I think I'm a bit to stubborn. I do agree that Spark should be PWA. He is perfect for the job.

Bad use of words. I'm pointing to the posts where people are suggesting each other corrupt, in the sense they are just going where the power is.

Ah, okay. Yeah, Houdini was out of line in doing that. Baseless allegations suck.
no need to point fingers Tseng, i am sure Spark worded his post intentionally not to name any names, yet you felt the need to state who it was

anyways, I think the most common opinion among graal players whom are educated on the subject, is that spark should be head of the PWA, and be allowed to hire a few more PWA members to help him, and Houdiniman enforce the rules.

Hey, I didn't allege that anyone was: "corrupt, in the sense they are just going where the power is". Houdini did.

Don't make me laugh. Houdini already said he was going to quit the PWA, though I'm sure by now his decision was reversed just to annoy the rest of us.

I have been friends with Houdiniman for a while, and he has never said anything about wanting to quit the PWA... he really likes his job, and i don;t see why he'd quit. I even asked him every few weeks about his job, and the only responce i got from him was that he loved his job, and wouldn't ever want to quit. (also, i don;t see what this has to do with my post...?)

Both Angel, and Spark would be great, They both seem to work well with people, and are very respectful towards people, I have always been able to go to either one of them if I needed them, and always got a swift response....since Angel obviously is happy where she is, Spark would be the obvious choice
