Terrain Generator

I was wondering if anyone could post the terrain generator exe on the forums. I want to make a 3D map for the server I work on, Futura. Except I cannot make the map because I need the generator.
Could anyone help?

Posting exes (yes, even zipped exes) is generally forbidden on the forums. Isn't it available in the dev pack thing?

I dont think Graal components should be forbidden to sharing. Also, it is not available in the developer pack in the graal setup.

Well, I have AIM for file sharing. My buddy list is exclusive because I get lots of weird people IMing me. If you wish to send me it via AIM, it would be OK with me.

--------Edit--------
If you have it on a website, or will send it over aim, forum PM me or post here.

You're missing the point. Somebody could embed a virus or somesuch, and the downloader would blame Graal.

If theres a virus in it, I have virus scanning, and if i suspect anything wrong, i will delete it. I dont got anything important on this computer so I can just format.

Im not afraid of a virus, and I am very cautious about what I download.

I thought about doing that after Porky "invented' the rating system in the profile thing. I figured people'd open up my profile and vote 1 for doing it, though.

I believe something is only Illegal if it goes against a Law or Bylaw. Graal Online's rules are not either. Graal Online goes by France's Laws and Paris's Bylaws. Graal Online's rules is just that: a set of rules. It annoys me when people claim breaking Graal Online's rules is illegal, since Graal Online does not have the authority to make Laws, in the sense that we're using them anyways.

Heh, Wasn't it obvious? I just meant it wasn't allowed on the forums.

I have heard it said, do not do that. And others have gotten in trouble for the same.

Incorrect. Illegality can be defined relative to any set of laws.

Don't bother. He's probably one those people who when getting an error that says "You have performed an illegal action." and other things, he thinks "wts? I'm not doing anything illegal!", thinking he's breaking the laws of a country or doing something offensive to a government.

You don't need the terriangenerator to make terrain. Just a gmap that has a few heights on it and your off That and you need your own terrain tileset. You cannot use picso.png. Everything you do with terrain requires that you produce your own graphics. Otherwise, you may not use it.

When I added "in the sense that we're using them anyways" I meant it referring to my post.

Oh no, an Illegal Operation on my computer, but I have broken none of Canada's laws. Eeek!

Ziro, most people usually get to know at least something (even if insignificant) about the person before they make an assumption. Although I guess it is justified because it gets to show off how much you can agree with an Admin.

Um, its not that hard to just lay down a few things Look at some of the other gmaps to get an idea. After that, edit terrain heights through the level editor.

I do think we have plenty of terrain servers though, but that is just my opinion

Like anyone alive he has probably said nice things to others before. Its just that the idiocy of these forums invokes negative (and often well deserved) comments. Look at it this way, at least he's doing you the service of pointing out something you might want to step back and re-examine. He could just say nothing at all and let you wallow in your ignorance

lol. Not really. Its probably more that it's an inconvience than anything which doesn't make it absolutely bad only relatively. Most of what I've learned comes from the Christian literature I've read. Some of it from various people I've encountered. A lot of people do deserve the things he says. There's no use in trying to protect them from the inevitable truth. The sooner they are made aware of their mistakes, the sooner it can be fixed, hmm? Like telling someone their zipper is down. Best to tell him as quickly as possible before he goes before a large croud and humiliates himself. You'd be an even bigger jerk for not making that person aware of his mistake. But by the same token, you shouldn't point out the faults of others while you have your own faults to deal with.

And to the other person: It's highly advisable that you don't use picso.png Otherwise you're essentially cloning GK. We have enough playerworld clones already.

Um, me? You snapped at me once because I was a newbie to scripting, and I asked a question about ajusting location by .5, when there really isn't anything on scripting toutorials. You were very anti-newbie, with the classic "if you don't know it you don't deserve to script." If the world followed your logic, nothing would exist - there has to be a new somthing at some point.

EDIT: Okay, the censor is ridiculous. I still can't belive no-ob is censored.
