When right next to a wall, or level link, certain NPCS stop doing what they are supposed to. e.g Opposite boots on the adventure start to do some strange things, and can't decide which direction you travel. I've seen this in a few other NPCS too.

Level links on clientside servers are notorious, thus the move to gmaps and NPCServ.
