This new NC thing

I would have to say the most stupid idea in the world. No offence whoever came up with it. It makes staff jobs way harder. Now Managers have to add
rw WEAPONS/Rune/*
rw WEAPONS/Toys/*
rw WEAPONS/Quest/*
rw WEAPONS/Player/*
rw WEAPONS/Equipment/*
etc over and over. To be able to view all the NPCs.
I think you should be able to do rw WEAPONS/* which should give access to all NPCs. Then if you want someone to have access to only certain NPCs in a folder you could do rw WEAPONS/Player/* or whatever.

would let everyone have access to classes and all. What if you want a person to have access to all Weapons but not Classes or the NPC list? It used to be just a simple rw WEAPONS/* now its all complicated and you have to have 50 folders to have access to all the Weapons.

I asked Stefan about the bags problem, and he mentioned that some servers still needed a restart.

However, I am unsure if the restart brings about the need to do rw WEAPONS/Bagname/* for each bag, or fixes it so that WEAPONS/* encompasses it.

Hopefully the restart fixes it... This will cause more problems than fix if it doesnt. X_x

Well if the manager or whoever is incharge where ever you work doesnt want npcrights to be set true,then this shouldnt concern you. It's up to the managers descretion.

All you have to do is make npcrights=true and put

rw WEAPONS/*
rw CLASSES/*
rw NPCS/*

in your folder rights..

The servers were updated to allow rw WEAPONS/bagname/*

but rw WEAPONS/* did not include all the bagged NPCs in it.

There is another update that will be applied later when some other scripting things are enabled on the other servers, which should hopefully solve this.
