Day and Night.... >.< c'mon already!

...I shouldnt have to explain myself...and theres always a way...

anyway i was thinking of some neat spells and such that you could use at night and night only, liek limited invisibility, that would make you partialy transparent at night time (and practicly invsibile if wearing black)

andddd ya know stuff like... Summoning cult monsters would only work at night..and evilish spells maybe..i duno...but c'mon..night... =( ...if you have to..make it always night! heh ive had enough of day

anyway..thats all.. err.. yep...

Apart from increased lag due to light effects... how long would night and day last? Realtime? Graaltime? People are online from different timezones, so some would be on only at night, never able to plant stuff, others only during daytime, never able to do whatever you can only do at night. Then, when you use Graaltime, it has to be long enough to grow a few corns, same for the night in length, so you'd sit arround and wait till you can do what you want and maybe can't even stay on til then. I don't like the idea.

Adding super laggy day/night mode just so we can have a couple of time restricted spells, doesn't seem like a good idea. Stefan said he'd probably add day/night when there was enough use for it.

We can have taverns which open only at night, stores can be open only during some times of the day, etc. And spells can be "attuned" to certain times of the day/days of the week.

i got a different responce from him. he said it would be to much of a hassle because of the lag all the images and scripting stuf flike that
