Playerworld information yet again..

Everyone is down and on my case for what? About playerworlds...about playerworld administration...everything.

Yes, I want playerworlds up. Yes some should be in construction / removed. Will that happen at the snap of my fingers? Not likely.

Thing that people aren't understanding and time and time again I have to repeat myself.

Graal 3.0 when that is released, or prior to it's release, the Playerworld Payment thing that is being developed will open, when that opens, either upon 3.0's release or after...I am not 100% sure, so don't quote me on times...Playerworlds will be reactivated.

Right now there is a FREEZE on playerworlds, since no one knows how the new format will affect the old format, so why accept things then people get pissed because the new format screws up the old one.

So bare with me, sure I would LOVE to hire some people. some of you are excellent, and I hope you guys stick around because you are worth it. Also....I cannot hire people due to the new format coming in and possibly taking away all jobs if it becomes automated or whatever...I am unsure what will happen, so my best guess is to leave it alone till the new format rolls around then we can see how that plays out and go from there.

I know you have servers for me, I know I've been busy but I've tried to say this a million times now. I'm sorry for this, if it could magically appear...yes good we'd all be happy but right now the delay is costly but you all have time to figure out your playerworld and make something more unique and original.

As for the Sanstrata threads. The original manager of the server needs to email me @ [email protected]

I know there are 2 people working on that one server...so I need to know who started it, any support you can gather..notify me and I'll correct the issue asap. If I am allowed to take off this freeze and hire people. You believe it'll start as early as I get the word to. If I cannot...then the freeze continues and everyone has to wait.

#1. what would the 'new format' change? just the scripting?

#2. will ALL servers have to pay, or just new ones? or just ones in private?

1) Graal is going from the standard delphi code to C++ Code...so more possibilities are now going to be implimented if all goes well

2) That question is iffy...thats part of the reason why I say "new" format...I do not know if ALL servers have to pay or new ones have to...or people who want to pay will pay...No clue...but until that is answered...I just dunno what will happen... so we can only wait for things to come and appear so we can see whats up with it

Is the Graal and RC goin' to work for Linux in that version? Or anytime soon...?

I just asked Nem, and he said that he isn't sure about the Graal RC... but he did say:

"Graal 3.0 will work with MAC, Linux and Windows"

I am looking forward to that Linux Graal version since a lot of time already, and hope to be more active once it is released

I believe the new PW system is going to be a great improvement, because Unixmad now really cares about the PWs more directly, and more can be done (no offense intended, to those current/former PW people).

I have not talked to Stefan for quite a while, so I am not up to date. Will the scripting language be changed, or will only the game itself be rewritten in C++?

Thats what I mean. But his definition was some what wrong. A messiah is a person sent by "god".

From what i have been told, current scripts WILL work... BUT, more commands will be added, so we can do cooler things

Um sorry Loriel, but you're wrong. Christianity is the world's largest religion. So saying "most people aren't Christian" is completely wrong. I'm not one of them, and don't think they deserve better treatment than anyone else, but they are the majority.

Anyway, knowing Unixmad, all servers are probably going to have to pay. If not now, then in the future I imagine. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, but don't expect them to be free forever. Remember, Graal was supposedly going to be free forever too, but that was not to be.

it may be the largest... (not even sure if that's true) but saying that a majority of the world is christian is not right at all...

something can be the biggest, without being a majority...

*edit* i looked it up... christianity has about 2 billion followers, making it the worlds largest religion... but since there are over 6 billion people in this world, then that means that Christianity is only 1/3 of the worlds population, and not a majority

I live in south florida and christianity may possibly not be the biggest religion here, but of course there are lots of immigrants where I live.

current playerworlds will be given about a half years worth of payment off the bat, gives them a good ammount of time to find a way to pay for it.

You got me there ETD. I was thinking of it as only a population of the religious.

But yeah, I'm wrong. If you look at it like a pie graph, Christianity has about 1/3 of the pie while the rest of the world's population occupies the remaining 2/3s.

I doubt thats true, there are literally hundreds possible thousands of belifes and religions. And I think that christian is the 2nd most populated and practised religion.

You can only base it of the people registered, some people are confused and end up switching through their life. So you shouldn't be saying that Catholic has most followers.

The information about that has limitations, Say they asked 1 billion people their religion, it doesn include everyone and so it can not be 100% correct.
