Managers paying to keep pw up?

There is sign saying that as of now pw managers must pay to keep their playerworlds up. Is this true?

Well, we haven't been given all the details yet. However, there will supposedly be a way so that popular servers will not have to pay, or pay as much. Something like that.

Oh ok cool. What I think they should do is all pws that pass through the pwa's should be online for free. Other servers that do not go through the pwa's should have to pay.

That is just plain stupid. Imagine it: 50+ playerworlds up with like 1-3 people on each...it defeats the purpose of meeting new people and team based roleplaying (in some servers)

Yes...that is one possibility.

The fact that a server has to be payed for (or needs a good playerbase) may also push some people to try harder which could increase the quality of playerworlds.

We just need to see how it turns out.

I think instead of doing this how about only playerworlds that pass through the pwa's can be online. this way there will be better playerworlds and no one has to "pay" to keep it up.

err, I think I put enough money into it buy paying for my account and paying for our space for our site...
What you are talking about will create more stress and more money out of our pockets....no can do on either
Wouldnt be fair either, stefan is making the money off of these pw's, not us...but we are the ones (managers) that keep them going, and stuff

I know its hard. I work on Sanstrata everyday I only have 7 staff members and 3 of them are gps. 1 of them is not on very much but has done a lot already. The other is busy since its christmas and all. and the other one is working on a q menu so its pretty much just me working on sans. But I will say this Prozac has been a great help and is a great man and has done a lot. I couldent of done it without him. But anyway back the paying problem yeah I dont like it ither. I think we should should just have pw's that pass through the pwa's.

I belive when this pay thing comes into effect, if it does, the PW Managers will not pay for thier servers. It will be a total crash down for all the servers, besides those rich kids who get there mommy and daddy to pay for everything.

There will be like 3 servers, with like 10 people on each. Think of it this way, if this comes into effect, Stefan is putting himself out of business.

The playerworlds already up won't be paying any money
