Hidden Worlds

This is a comment\complaint directed towards hidden worlds.

I do not like how hidden worlds direct players to other servers automaticly, or do things like, reset their accounts to log them off.

I have it on my server, so you are reset if you have more than 4 weapons (ammt of system weapons there are) that way people dont have too much stuff.

But people dont log on after they are reset, thinking they are booted off like on other servers.

This pisses me off, and probably annoys some pw managers who have the same problem.

Maybe this could be fixed by having it so it doesnt say "You were disconnected" when you were reset, but instead "An administrator reset your account" so you know.

But still doesnt solve that some servers reset you to log you off.

Thats dumb!
Make something to hold them from getting to your world.

Dont redirect them, because thats just dumb.
If you dont want people seeing your world, and you dont want people playing on it, and you dont want people seeing who the staff are.

DONT SUBMIT IT!
Simple as that.

Um, the player isn't forced to type in hidden pw's and try to access them. If the playerworld isn't on the playerworld list, that means you probably shouldn't be seeing it.

It's no ones fault but your own, if you try to log onto a private pw and something bad happens. :P

Warcaptain, you're the worst one I think. You try to log on every private pw there is. I've seen you attempt to get on Oasis several times, and you were trying to get on others as well. The reason they aren't on the list, is because you're not supposed to go there. It's kind of obvious don't you think?

i think you are getting the wrong idea

that little icon next to them, on the RC server list, is an Under Construction icon.

you are UC, not private.

if you want to work privately, then dont submit your world.

they arent on the list, because it looks bad for graal, and bad for the buisness of graal if it has 5-10 worlds that are UC, and it makes the rest look bad.

this way it keeps the completed worlds up, and showcased, when the rest are not shown, but are still accesable to those who want to go to them.

They are meant to be PRIVATE. Stefan just transferred them to normal and not visible so it was easier for people to make new staff accounts and things for their private pw's. Of course private pw's are UC, they aren't finished, or they wouldn't be private. They show up on RC, but they clearly do not show up in the playerworld list, where you would log into them to get d/c or sent to another server like you said.

as i said before

they are like that so that they can develope their worlds, without trashing the serverlist

and they are hidden, so that the rest can be "showcased" without being mixed with the UC ones.

None of them are supposed to be "showcased" they are all private and UC. It's up to the pw manager to decide if they want people to be able to view the server. I should know, I was the one that asked Stefan to switch Oasis to this so that I could add staff accounts myself. You shouldn't complain/argue/rant about things you don't know much about.

Yeah, really smart. You only left out one thing, and that's the fact that the people need the npc server to continue development.

i dont kick people off my server, or transfer them

and i manage to use my npcserver, and develope new enigma on my space.

why is that?
and the UC worlds arent showcased, the ones that ARENT uc are.

Some of us don't like players "snooping" or getting in the way

Of course, I just have a small barrier set up...just no script to send them elsewhere since they can't do any harm where they are locked to

thats exactly what im saying
just put something up to keep players off your world, but warping them away, or reseting them, isnt good.

Why not? Sending them elsewhere isn't hurting anyone. Same thing with reseting them.

There's been 921 attempts made by players trying to access Oasis. That's 921 possible times that someone could bother me or my staff while we work.

If you can't handle this now don't expect to succeed once you go public.

It's nothing but 'annoying players bugging you' from there on.

Um, wha?! If Konidias or myself don't want to be bothered, we don't have to be :/ Show me something that says I must keep my PW open to anyone at all times even if its UC and hidden. Good luck

However, being distracted while busy with other things is not good. Too often, I've gotten into dumb PM conversations and lost track of what I was doing :/ This is a good way to prevent it from happening
