Steel, Silver, Copper. Make a challenge on making stuff because it just takes like 2, gold and 1 diamond to make the best sword in the game which is kinda pitiful it only adds +9... make a challenge maybe 16 gold 2 diamonds...

Steel is refined Iron... so we cant really have steel
Copper wouldn't really be needed since the Copper age died off and Graal is based in the Iron Age.

And Silver would be a good idea... and platinum. Since we have the coins, why not have the mineral?

Because platinum as a weapon based metal corrodes easily and would end up shattering within a few uses.

Iron, Gold, and Coal is the best orientation of minerals I could possibly think of on the game -- I also think introduction of nonexistant metals only true to this server/world would be interesting. Adamantium, Yttrium...etc. Well, they exist, but nothing in weapon form.

Adamantium .. that is a real metal? I've never been able to find out for myself. At any rate, that could be a good metal for very powerful armor and what not .. but it ought be very rare..

just because you can't make a weapon out of it doesn't mean its not good for selling... so I like silver and plat... copper... we don't even have copper coins=P

Also, the Diamond Sword is no longer the best sword in the game. The Vicious Axe is +9 damage and is much faster.

Yes, they should have armor made from bones and raw bomy skins, like on Morrowind with the Bonemold armor :O

And they need Tungstene(sp)... because I said so.

Adamantium is copyrighted by Marvel Comics. Adamant is the element, which cannot be copyrighted.
Platinum would be useless for smithing, possibly good for ringforging someday, but have a high resale value. Silver would be useful for certain swords, but since it's necessarily of lower value than gold nuggets, which are quite possibly the least useful form of mineral on the server, why bother? Silver would have to be of such ridiculously low use to make up for its relative rarity verses small gold nuggets, which every alchemist can make from anything...
I'd like to see the gemstones filtered into the mining thing. Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies and Emeralds, all unidentified so Jewlers have a use for them.
I don't look forward to any weapons with greater than +9 damage. That's stupid, it's already pointless to wield any normal sword but diamond or any axe but vicious! I'd like to see a balance between power and speed, such that a katana with +5 is twice the speed of a +9 Diamond Sword, but the ganis don't support speedups without disposing of sound unfortunately...it'd mean essentially making a new weapon class for Fast Swords, in which the katana is king and using any other fastsword is silly...there's no individuality in weapon choices nowadays, only the hunt for great power. I'd be a much cooler elf fighting with a steel sword, but I'd also be a much weaker one...

To make making weapons more complex... maybe forging the hilt/shaft of the weapon seperate from the blade/head?
You can make up metals i guess... Atherillium? Barkarite? Nivortine? XD yea i know it sounds weird.

Chris, it was a gold warrior helm, one of a kind, original owner died, another person took it from the guy (item drop mode) and that guy quit ages ago, so the helm is gone...
