Half of your are jealous that it got online. Some of you think your server ownz it but you somehow can't pass a damn review. Well if you hate it so much don't ****ing play it. Its a good server (especially for pking I might add)

I agree, Read my review about it, Thats the real Mecoy, and the RAW Stuff. So all thoses who hate it dont have to play it. Although I wont be soon Ill play on another PW, but for now its good.

People are angry because it was unfairly put up Joker, they have to wait for theirs to be reviewed, this new server had no review and should not be online

The reason Galbadia was put online was because it's in another language... I would imagine it's vitally important to get servers up in different languages, as it will attract more people (THAT DONT SPEAK ENGLISH)

It doesn't matter if it's not the greatest playerworld ever seen. It's more of a starting point for more non-english servers. I have no problem with Stefan auto-passing servers like that.

90% of Germans Speak Fluent English (Trust me I know).

Galbadia is a English/German Server which i find a amazing place.

"Most" of the staff dont know what they are doing but the unity on the server is amazing.

+ PKing is fun ;-)

the thing that annoys me is, the server went up without the pwa reviewing it. i dont own a server so i could really careless, the fact of the matter is if stefan made a pwa team, why dosent he use it for servers submitted to him? i mean no offenese to him but just because he likes a server does not mean that the players of graal will, and last time i checked this game was made for the players, not him.

Edit: and if stefan felt that he wanted to attract more players from other countries, why not make a server like 2k1 or 2k2 but in german or another language?

It's Stefans game, he can put up any server he wants.
He is higher than the PWA team.

I think the main factor in his decision was the fact it wasn't in English. The more forign servers the better, it attracts a wider player range and player count.

There are translator and server language features now. It not being in English didn't have any reason for it to not be reviewed.

If the reason is to attract foreign players I think that they should first make the website multi-lingual instead of puting up every multi-lingual server submitted.

the foreign "thing" had nothing to do with it, SIMPLY BECAUSE IT IS TRANSLATED.

There are ALSO translation features on the Graal EXE AND the Server options.
Now, not having to submit because it's a "foreign" server, TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH, is stupid.

It got online because A) It's a german server. B) It went RIGHT PAST the noses of the PWA. Until yesterday I did not even KNOW it existed. If it had been reviewed by the PWA it would NOT have gotten online.

There is a TRANSLATION feature in the Graal.exe and SERVER OPTIONS.
It did not go past the PWA because it is a "german" server. Most of its NPCs had additional scripts where it had been translated.

Why does it have to pass pwa? If Stefan likes it, he can put it up. Sure pwa is supposed to review pw's, but 3 people reviewing a playerworld isn't much better then 1. Everyone has different opinions on things. I'm sure if I sent my playerworld to Torankusu, and it was completed, he would fail it instantly, as he doesn't like me or my playerworld. That's his opinion.

The fact of the matter is that almost every foreign language server that has been sent in has been passed without being reviewed by the PWA. I'm not saying it got past because it was german and no one here knows how to read german, I'm saying it got past because foreign language servers are often put up because they're foreign language servers. And while I certainly have no problem with different language servers being put up, I'd prefer if they were pleasant to play on and if the PWA was notified to review them instead of being sent to Stefan directly.

I'd like to make it clear I have absolutely no problem with Stefan putting up these servers without the PWA's okay. He's the boss and pays for the server which gives him the power, and I respect that. However, the more and more low-quality servers that are put up, the further the already stretched population becomes, which can lead to some of the potentially good servers losing a lot of players and generally lowering the population appeal to new players.

And the 3 step thing is exactly for that reason. If something that knocked me for a loop as well as another PWA, but gets a terribly low score with another PWA, we can investigate it.

There are 3 other reviewers, and not sending it to ANY of them just because you think I will fail it because I "don't like you or it" isn't ANY reason not to send it to anyone of the others.

I quit Gabadia once when i walked FIVE steps out of the newbie house and a link error put me on top of it.
but then I decided to give it aqnother chance.
Sadly, I found the entire server FILLED with TILING ERRORS - The most simple ones you can think of too! House walls etc, its just crap IMHO, sorry.

Basically this game(Graal) needs to be run more professionally. If a server were up to par and put past the PWA I would be happy as a clam and would play on it. Sadly, in my opinion, Galbadia is not up to par.

Heres a great tip, instead of posting all this stuff, just dont play the server , if everyone really dislikes this server (like myself) no one will come on , and what is a server without people playing it ?
That will teach them to either improve it greatly , make it private or just put it down, it's up to them.

What's the point of a PWA team if they're not even going to

I dunno but I think that if Stefan wants more german servers he should make a german classic or whatever but I don't think these servers are needed due to the fact of the translation on exe. Galbadia seemed to have had some rather rude content.

But if this server was put online for its german content then hell next thing you know every wannabe half ass server will put a single german word in and say its a german playerworld =X

I'm angry over this not because I "feel cool" about doing it, it's because I'm concerned for the population. It's already stretched thin as a nail because of a dozen different playerworlds, half of them mostly crap that steal away several dozen subscribers who could be going to some of the better servers. (Such as classic.) Then there would be more people to interact with and that would, overall, create a better playing experience. But when crap playerworlds like this are put online, the population is stretched thin again.
