Websites?

I've been meaning to learn how to script for a few months now and since SL got the NPC Server we have been waiting for, I really want to learn.

Is there any websites out there that give examples of scripts and explain how the commands are used to a proper extent? I remember there used to be a NPC Scripting bible out there but I lost the link and I was wondering if there are other sites.

When I get a chance I want to make an awesome website for scripting. Have it so scripters can submit hints and tips, maybe sort of like how php.net is. I think that would be cool.

Zega, perhaps you can help me. I am meaning to do the same... and I own the domain www.projectshifter.com if you want, let me know and I'll set you up w/ FTP to a folder inside... perhaps the entire thing WILL be about scripting, as that is a big portion of my life now =P

I own two domains myself, and my bro-in-law is my webhost, so I'm pretty much set, thanks though.

Maybe we can work together to do this once I have time, busy as hell with crap for Delteria+school right now. Plus it depends on how good you are, I don't like workin with people on websites who don't know anything about 'em.

Ya know, I'd have probally submitted some crap already, but the thing is, you just have it where I have to email it. If you had it where I could just submit it via my web browser I'd probally do it....It's obvious you're decent with php, so use it...

Pop-ups suck man, I think every site that has popups, except for a few things (such as on some forums, there is a popup when you get pm's, useful things like that), should be shut down and banned from the web for stupidity! Why would you want to use a popup for that? Just put a normal link to submit crap, then have an admin panel you have to login to to go and view the crap. Just use mail() to send an email to you when someone submits crap.

LOL, I don't do much PHP but I can do layouts he he. I have some PHP progz that I put up like www.projectshifter.com/index.php and /PHP/index.php I'm experimenting w/, I might just use one of those. I know how to make good sites layout wise, and that site is just using basic Graal stuff x.X

uhh the small window only pops up when you press the link, & it gives you a small form to fill out to send me the stuff... it doesnt pop up on load

LOLz... Bhala, perhaps you can just come work on mine. If it makes you happy, we can use some of your stuff, but you don't wanna steal the Graal layout or they'll get TICKED! I own the domain, and it'll probaby be the main thing... you interested? You too Zega.
