Well I am now the new Head Auctioneer and i have fired all inactive Auctioneers and is now Hiring heres the small test Toran gets to keep tag because he is the only staff member who gets to keep beacause he is the one that can do bomies house etc. but staff can try out also I might hire Assistant if that is possible i will be looking to hire 5-6 Auctioneers Good luck everyone and heres test

To relieve boredom, when Events seem cliché.

SaitoHajime: Tseng (Auctioneer)

1) AlexH made me temp auctioneer for a day when no auctioneers were on

2) add/remove player (acct) - warps the player in/out of the top area
warp player in/out (acct) - same
allow/disallow access - enables players to cross the barrier into the top area/disables it
set bid (amount) - sets the starting bid
start auction "Name" - (need quotes if 2+ words), starts the auction of that name
start countdown - counts down
cancel auction - Ends the auctions

One of those will warp people in who aren't in the acution house, and I believe it's the add/remove one. Might be wrong but I never tried it, as I didn't want to abuse my limited temporary power.

3. It's fun to buy and sell stuff at auctions. It helps the economy. It encourages active-ness, and there are a lot of auctioneers who are inactive. Well, there WERE.

4. See #3, + I would be an active auctioneer, holding them whenever a reasonable sized amount of people were ready to sell a reasonable sized amount of items, and as long as there would be enough people to buy it; i.e. I wouldn't hold an auction when only 10 people are on.

Well...i have had only really used auctions on ebay. I have seen auctioneers on tv and auction things on video games, but i have not really seen an live auctioneer in real life. I have seen only 2 auctions on graal for various hats and instruments and it looks interesting and fun.

2)What are all the commands for Auctioneer?

on graal im not sure...but im willing to learn

I know that auctions can start at a certain price and rise by bids by increments, I also know that when no one has bid then the auction counts down and if nobody bids in that time, then the highest bidder wins.

3)Why do you want to be an Auctioneer?

Yes. It looks interesting and fun. I am an honest,kind,trustworthey person and will give only my best. I try to be on G2k1 as much as I can. Though, Im not sure if I will be much due to school.

4)How would you assite the Auctioneer Team?

hmm...well the auctioneer can do all of the bid commands such as rising the price etc or I can do the commands, and I/Auctioneer helps transfer the items and money.

A:I have never been an auctioneer but I've seen them use the commands and I've auctioned my own things through masses.

2)What are all the commands for Auctioneer?
A:i)allow access-Allows the normal players to enter a certain area of the auction house.(Where you sell your items and the person that bids the highest recieves it also where auctioneers stand.)

ii)disallow access-Closes that certain area to normal players.(Where you sell your items and the person that bids the highest recieves it also where auctioneers stand.)

iii)add player account name-Warps a player to a certain area in the auction house. (Where u sell ur items and the person that bids the highest recieves it also where auctioneers stand.)

iv)Remove player account name-Warps a player to the area where bidders and non auctioneers stand in the auction house.

v)warp player in account name-Same as the "add player account name" command.

vi)warp player out account name-Same as the "remove player account name" command.

vii)start auction <item name>-Starts the bidding on a certain item from 0.

viii)set bid <bid>-Starts the bidding from a specific price.

ix)start countdown-Makes a timer countdown for someone to make a bid or the item is sold to the highest bidder.

x)end auction-Ends the bidding to the current item being auctioned.

A:I want to be an auctioneer because it can help circulate the items on the server which is benefitial to all Graalians, it can help people in desperate need of money, I want to contribute to the 2k1 community other than just FAQ and I'm sure it will be enjoyable.

4)How would you assite the Auctioneer Team?
A:I would assist the auctioneer team by holding auctions and wearing my tag often while the servers population is reasonably high and active. Encouraging auctions by also selling stuff of my own and encourage fellow auctioneers to do the same.

Well sort off i know how to hold auctions etc... I auctioned items before. I know a lot about being an Auctioneer and i'd like to help
out people with my experience! I have never been a auctioneer on Graal2001 but i have seen the scripts and know how to work the auction. I've been to many auctions so i saw auctioneers use the commands before.

2) What are all the commands for Auctioneer?
1. add/remove player (account): Adds or removes a player to/from the top area.

2. allow/disallow access: allows access to the top area by players or removes that ability.

3. set bid (amount): sets the starting bid.

4. start auction "Name": Name for the auction.

5. start countdown: starts countdown for who buys the item.

6. end auction or cancel auction: Ends the current auction.

3)Why do you want to be an Auctioneer?
I am always on so i can basicaly always hold an auction if i am asked to. I like to do something for Graal2001 to pay back what all the staff members did for me. Like your staff group FAQ helped me get started. Police jail the bad people that hack. ETC...

4)How would you assite the Auctioneer Team?
I would hold auctions for people if needed.

Auctioning became useless when the market was created. Like said above, the only use for them is for staff to sell big items and stuff.. no need for a big team of people annoying players all day with auction announcements.
