Hello.
Hart Land is a PW I am currently working on. Right now I am simply doing tiles. In screenshot you'll see how far I am with it.

Overall this PW is going to be an RPing one. However, unlike every other RPing PW, this one will offer wide varieties of grounds etc. Good RPers will be really happy, while it'll be easier to start RPing for newbies, because environment will be created so that you will be RPing without even knowing it.

There will be a system as well. However I do not want to reveal it, scince this system has never being used in any RPG or on Graal. So system will remain secret for pretty long.

Also there are a few 'Beta Testers' for this PW. They are not to share information that has being given to them.

It looks nice. But you need to work on the sand it shows up as a bunch of squares. Need to make sure they blend together better.

I like it. Change a few things. Maybe put some kind of outline on the grass to sand. And under that outline, make a darker shadowed color there as well. Do not put that darker shadowed part on the bottom tiles however. I'll post an example shortly.

Not a chance. Sorry. Beta Testers are trusted friends, whom I can trust not to reveal anything I tell them.

What a useless screenshot, people should really wait before posting such early tilesets, who really wants to see trails, grass, and dirt? That isn't exactly something to debut your playerworld with..

Yes, Androk, i have seen your levels before. Too many bushes and rocks.. I hope it won't be like that for Hartland?

The bushes seem a little like basketballs or something.

You never listened to my suggestion.

I said you need to get rid of the lines and make it blend more. The sand it likes like there are lines crisscrossing all over it. You can see where the individual tiles are. You need to make it match better. -_-

I actually edited them a little, you might see that. I guess I have too many lines on edges. *goes to correct*

As for Bushes. I tried to break the usual square type bushes. I mean com'n when you look on bush from top is it square? No... It's round.

Name - Not a very exciting name. Very plain. Use a name generator or something. 2/10

Graphics

Grass/Sand - Looks fine. Slightly better than the default. 7/10
Bushes - Nice. Maybe some more shaeds needed. 7.5/10
Water - Just a slight colour change from thed efault. 5/10
Huts - Quite nice. The ends of the logs on the bottom right house doesnt quite suit the rest of the colours. It needs to be a bit darker. 7.5/10

Average: 7.5/10

I corrected sand tiles. I tried to remove any pattern or large lines there were. I still can't delete V pattern that sand has. Don't know why x.X Anyhow Updated screenshot is on the bottom.

Ok sand is perfect now.

As for the bushes. Yes better than square. But dont make them perfectly circle it just looks so fake then. Maybe mushroomish. You know like kind of wide at the sides. An oval would be the best description I suppose. Just somethign so it doesnt look so perfect in shape.

Ok I know what it is! The bushes are like a top view. Like you're looking straight down at them. But everything else has a sort of slanted view going up. Perhaps if you put a little bit of a stump at the very bottom like you're looking at it from an angle or something. Then it might look a little bit better. Right now the bushes just sort of jump out at you instead of blending with the scenery. Blending as in matching up. The colors are perfect because when playing you'll be able to see it.

To be fair, I tried to go for just kind of random look when I started... I think I lost any trace of what it looked like. But It Looked HORRIBLE... x.X Then On my second try I somehow drew a perfect circle... I am still wondering how I did it 0.o. I might add some changes, And Might not. Not sure.

Also Have no more space to moderate my drawing at all. I am adding shading on the ground right now. I'll post picture in a second.

If you're referring to the trunk/stump of the bush then you could be clearer about it.

As for the new bush. Can you put it in a level its to hard to judge by just a tiny image how it looks in everything else.

I was giving a valid opion. Done correctly for the bush to have a stump/trunk It could quite possibly look nicer. Althougha shadow how he has done works jsut as well to give it a slanted look.
