Beyond Legend tileset and updates

Corupt: well I remember the last time I came here boy did I get rolled on people didnt much care for my work but Im gonna attempt to show some more work including the tileset im making hoping I might get some positive feedback but if not whatever won't knock me down will make me stronger but here is a display level of the new tileset its only a display level dont grade it for level making skills and then ill include the map for those of you who aren't familiar with BL(Beyond Legend)

the map of Ladonia there are 2 seperate maps one for the ground map and the pther for Scythia the hovering world but that I havent updated in quite awhile but ill get back to work on it

The grass is horribly repetetive, try and fix it...

<3...I told Corupt only thing I didn't like was the ewy ewy caves..and something else...oh yea and the bush..it looked familiar but nm it wasn't

it will seem that way whether I change it or not due to the fact that its just darker shades of green scattered around a 16x16 pixel tile it will seem repetitive if I change it or not so theres not point in changing it at all maybe I'll make some grass thats looks like real grass but I wouldnt want koni thinking I copied him in some way (no offense koni)

I don't care if someone makes grass similar to mine, as long as it isn't too similar, like its using the same freakin RBG color values.

Well Konidias copied off of Soul Blades grass if you ask me No offense ment to anyone.

Corupt: I dunno im pretty sure ill keep the grass the way it is becuase like koni's grass makes the whole level look overly detailed for me no offense koni's grass tiles are very neat but its just to much detail for me and im sure some would agree all I did today was a little map work i mostly made the 1st sandpath actually look like sand cuz i wanted to have a real looking beach ill post screenshots once i finsih the beach tiles wont take me long once I start on it but now im going to my friends so maybe ill finish it tomorrow and get back with yall thx for the support and the kind words

From the looks of it, it looks like Koni copied from Zoogles. http://www.pixel-zone.net/tpz/tutminigrass.asp . Btw, the GFX Admin of EDO made tiles like Koni's but better because there was more Variety, thats a tip koni.

Um, okay?! I think you are being a little too possesive there You don't own any rights to specific colors values...no one does. You are getting too worried about very insignificant things here...find something that is far more important to deal with instead of worrying about someone using colors that you use

God, when is someone besides Soul Blade going to grasp what I'm trying to say? They took my graphic, they copied it, they pasted it into a paint program, and they edited it. I'm not complaining because it looks similar, or that they are using the same colors. I'm complaining because they took my graphic and edited it.

By the way, when I made Oasis grass I was inspired by SoM 3 mostly. Murasamune's isn't as thick looking.

Btw, the GFX Admin of EDO made tiles like Koni's but better because there was more Variety, thats a tip koni.

Uhh what? Tiles like mine but better? I have like 20 different grass tiles, is that not enough variety?

Corupt: well I got the beach tiles finished now I'm focusing on changing all the grass in the tileset to my style but heres a beach screenshot ill include gif and png, png is not distorted but the gif is

Corupt: now I will agree with yall ugh detail freaks the darker sand tiles the ones that are wet from the water ya know well the one tile that is completely of that color and design I will have to make more so it doesnt look so repetitive but im going to do that so no worries

I believe I played that a couple times back when I played rpgs frequently I must have remembered the look and just drew it to resemble that hmm I dunno but those bushes also look like the ones in front of my house so I guess I may have got the idea from both places 1 without knowing it

Corupt: Well the tileset for Beyond Legend is complete as far as the grass, shaded grass, dirt, shaded dirt, goes. I doubt I'll change the snow tiles I think they look fine but I will probably add bushes, rocks, etc to the snow tiles. Im replacing most of this with the lava tiles most of them arent needed since you can set a backpal in the level and use the entire tileset as lava tiles but yeah I'll prolly post some screenshots tonight after I finish the tree connections the ones that allow you to make a forest out of the trees

i like the sand tiles really well, and the grass and everything is ok, except the the big trees...the leaves are too thick looking to me, and the trunks are too small...other than that it's got good potential, good job

Corupt: the trunks arent to small for that tree maybe in heighth but the leaves would be covering it up anyways but trees around my house look like that so its very realistic in all actuality as for the leaves i guess i might change those yes they do look thick becuase of the colors i used

Corupt: Yes there will be player houses but I will not flood the server with playerhouses I mean nothing aginst players but most of their houses suck and well I was thinking bout this lastnight the houses might need to be edited cause the new tileset soemthing have been changed around and such but I will probably hire soemone for that job to do that to use the BL tileset and fix up the player houses that the players send in I mean someone might not want to do this but hey its a staff job but BL won't be hiring LAT's becuase im not going to submit the server partially done I will submit it 100% complete and if they players thirst for more then I'll make a 2nd saga. Well im not on my computer right now but when I get home I'll upload more screenshots I started today working on house roofing tiles( I dreaded this) but I'm gonna have graal houses and my houses just so there will be more variety which all players like variety but the first roof tiles are nearly complete I just have to make a few more tiles and then I need to make the new house outside wall tiles which the look I thought up for that is very simplistic but very clean looking but I'll be keeping all old graal style houses and mine I'll make a new style of windows I might make them more oval around the top but I dunno yet I havent started working on it I'll include screenshots later tonight if I get this done ok laterz

Um... That looks exactly like the ice quest on Rudora, and yes I know you made it, but once you sent it to us it became ours... err... GraalOnlines.... Anyway, I don't think it's wise to use the exact same quest as the one on Rudora, it's bad form.

Corupt: I wasn't going to I made a mini-story for the one I made on Rudora I had big hopes for that server but me and the owners ideas didnt match and I was a little punk when I was Rudora I'll be honest I was a huge a$$ carra would agree without a porblem lolz but no I know I gave that quest to Rudora but now its a key part in the overall story of my server its not going to be exactly like it cuase I have to switch some levels around so it will look the way I want it and I'm detailing all the levels in it so I guess it will have the same outline somewhat but the levels will be detailed and switched around and a new boss and He gets really cold... ok heres another screenshot of another level I just finished up I'm getting tired of working on snow levels already even though I love them but I made myself a "to do list" and I need to complete the stuff on it or I won't feel as though I have gotten anything done today.. alright next on the list.. finish Scythia.. yeah right lolz I'll just make a presentable map of it when I get soem of it done
