it's only the beggining you know.

This is alpha, one day they will have all the cool NPC's and other islands and all. as for now, we have explored everything there is to do and its boring with no new updates. But one day itll rox our sox. I hope.

There are new weapons coming out all the time.

But it doesn't matter becouse there's nothing to do with them but waste the hard earned ammo. At least right now.

G2k2 is horrible. I don't see what you people see in it. the graphics are horrendous, so is the gameplay.

There is NOTHING to do besides slashing monsters. NOTHING. There are no quests, there are no games, there is no content.

Leveling is slow and boring. There is no way to consider the strength of your enemy, so you have to look to HELP sites to see what you can even take on, and sometimes even that doesn't work.

The anime graphics are nice, but they don't blend in well with the blocky 3d terrain. The servers are also terrible. It gets to be that you sometimes have to wait 5 seconds before the server recieves your signal and moves you to the correct position, which can result in death.

Some classes are vastly more overpowered then others. Magicians can beat things down with only a minimal amount of effort, while battles between a swordsman and a baddy can take a very, long time and severely weaken the swordsmans HP count, causing him to have to break or spend up thousands of zenny on HP potions.

I didn't find ******ok enjoyable. It was a good timewaster, but nothing much beyond that.

Very agreed. Also, when I downloaded it to play it for the first time it took a day. That was really annoying.

i could have said that graal2002 would be boring.

the movement sucks on it, the landscaping isnt realisitic, and theres nothing to do there but do the jobs they have.

no quests or ne thing, and its boreing.
the sparring is boring too

rag sucks, end of story, birdo you know we are in testing and that the only reason we released is because people wouldnt stop complaining, and we needed to test crap.

please if you want to complain about a game in progress go chill with shadrock or soemthing.

I like RO. I play it all the time. I think the reason 2002 lost many of its players because there was no point in playing. All there was really to do was get on. Make new weapon. Play around with it. Nothing that keeps the players interest.

I agree ******ok sucks, but so does 2002

I don't understand why you guys made it suck compared to the old 2 day preview..

the only thing that has changed is the gfx, and there is new weapons. we still have the other stuff, plus more.

Heh, 2002 would be better when we can change clothes...Take over towns...Have wars...Level up....Increase stats...Fight...Build.... o.o Only reason 2k2 sucks right now is cause it's only alpha. Btw, ******ok (Why does it blank out that? o.O; ) does suck, my bro play's it all the time, I have no idea why x.o

that's just it. 2D games weren't designed to implement 3D graphics. Graal is aimed at a 2D audience, it always has been. why take such a risk and change it, it's what drew the players in the first place. it's too big of a leap, from 2D to 3D.

the real annoyance however, is that you can't make a good server with a bad program. old tileset, old engine, minor updates, eh...

I could go on and on.

For the first week or so, I was absolutely enamored with 2k2. The graphics style gave the game a real sense of exploration that was unlike anything I had ever seen on Graal. The enormous overworld dwarfed 2k1, and I spent hours just walking around, and it seemed I would discover something new every day. Working was suprisingly enjoyable, and I spent days doing nothing else. I became a lumberjack, a miner, a farmer, a baker and a bandit, and could not imagine how anyone could complain about the server.

That ended quickly, because, as has been pointed out repeatedly, there is simply nothing to do. I can work for hours, but there's nothing to do with my supplies except make a precious few items that are only used to gather more supplies, or kill other players. Having a combat heavy overworld might have been alright, if the combat system didn't suck. There's no quests, there's no roleplaying, there's not a single baddy on the entire map. You can cry "Alpha" all you'd like, but if the Alpha version is this poor, then I doubt I'll be looking forward to the Beta.

Not true

as well as the ugly new graphics and horrible music, you put in forced kingdom selection, no ability to change bodies outside your kingdom, i'm pretty sure you can't plant those awesome forests anymore, etc :|

you can plant the forests.
the kingdom selection is temporary, we havent finished a body changing system. new graphics are bette than the old. and you can disable the music. anything else?

You know, when we first heard 2k2 was coming out, everyone was under the impression (even me) that kingdoms would shortly be released after but, but I seem to have been misinformed. They won't be out for months, how can yopu expect to get all those players back in months when they've already been there and lost their interest?

At the very least, release the kingdom islands even if i's alpha. I'd enjoy very much just walking around the islands, as many others would too, not building, but just maybe fighting and role-playing.

If you don't release them very soon, then I fear the worst which may be that Graal 2002 will never recover from the slump it is in.

dont worry, once we finish up with the system we are going to spiffy up main and make the central towns for the kingdoms. then we can release them. not too much work and i hear stefan is close to completion of the new npc server.

after its done and the system is done ( i say about 2 weeks ) it wouldnt take more than a day for each kingdom and maybe 2 days for the main island, in all i say about 3 weeks to 4 before we see kingdom stuff

BUT DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT BECAUSE IT MIGHT TAKE LONGER OR, MAYBE LESS TIME............PLAY IT BY EAR.

I'll take your word for it. The possibility of it being out within the month sounds very promising, and even if there is a delay on top of that (which there usually is) I don't mind, because it's certainly less than 6 months.

well, because we opened when we did we learned......a hell of a lot. the graphics wont change, music wont change. gameplay will, if you've noticed it has already...it has btw lol.

also, i forgot to mention. we have sorda a system in the wors. a kingdom control panel. which i made some nice gfx which i must redo for :-p

i'll ask er1c if i can post a screen of it.

you don't see it, but the graphics change is the biggest change, the rest is pretty much the same.

about the clothes. we want to make it more RPis than, Setbody, setarms setlegs. so chill

jeeze lay off the music, if you want good music put in a cd or something. thats what i do

I want music that fits with Graal

the old Graal music did.. but this new stuff is crap. I hope stefan didn't pay much for it. He's much better at making little midis himself

I just wish you hadn't changed much, especially graphics from the old preview.
