try not using maloriatileset.png,,0,0,0
for your tileset

this is so pathetic.

levelstart is there so you DONT LOAD THE TILESET FOR EVERY SINGLE LEVEL!!!!!!!!

haha yeah, I went and got on 2k1 and the tiles were maloria tiles.

When I start graal in training mode it has the maloria tileset.

Yet when I goto my graal folder the file pics1.png is the regular one.

They had enough time to debug everything as a private server.
They got orange dirt, the rocks don't blend, there is no real story, their baddies are impossable to kill, and their tiles mess up everyones pics1.png

the server only got up because of corruption in the pw team.
HAWK is administrator there and we ALL know that a pw like that never woulda passed otherwise.

and helmut, excaliburs right.

they had a private server for a few weeks or more to fix any bugs they had.
and its STILL shitty.

nemesis? arent you playerworld administrator, so technicaly you are to be held responsible for this corruption. and you should fix it.

I was wondering what the problem was....I had to keep restarting because the gfx was all messed up, I knew it was from the maloria tileset, but I didnt know why.

go edit your tiledefs text files then either set them to read-only or never go on Maloria AGAIN.

I think Maloria should redo their tileset or at least don't have their tiles blending in with Graal's regular tileset.
I kept running into stuff when I was walking around and it got very annoying. I know I have bad eyesight and all but still the bushes kind of blend in too much with the grass and other things around. I never had the problem where I was like "wtf I can't get around whats blocking my path" with the normal graal tileset.

That problem you guys are experiencing is quite weird. I haven't had that problem yet.

I have had nothing but problems by downloading that tileset....

Maloria had a private server for awhile.

Yet NOW they are trying to fix the bugs.

They were not given a fair review, they should be given one, just like all the other playerworlds.

Well, I think Nemesis and Psyker should get on their RC, go there, look at all their things in FTP, make sure everything is ok, then get some staff boots, and check out all the levels =)

I try to fix all the bugs I see, Ill start transfering all the level names (insides) to start with maloria so I can set the level start, untill then just run a level offline with removetiledefs;

Ok ok people, just dont play Maloria anymore, they have gotten all the chances they needed to fix it up and have failed. Not only does it have horrible script setbacks but the story line makes no sense, the graphics from the tileset all mix together in such a horrible way it makes me think im walking through silent hill, and last but not least, their one quest that I DID play has a star of david flying around killing people. Now there is so many things wrong with that I dont even know where to begin.

I kinda agree.... i really have issues with it, the tileset is jsut so ugly it hard to look at... they have great NPC's and all but oh well.. it still is UC so hopefully we wont get let down..

the server does suck...the tiles expecially...sometimes you go on and their shitty tile set doesn't even work...like my friend Jin-Emon...his screen is always black cuss his tile set doesn't work

I cant even edit levels now offline, because everything in the editor is gone completely, I have even rerun graal, then I uninstalled it, and put it back on...nothing helps. This really makes me mad because I wasworking on something, and I dont know how to fix it.

You do not understand.

Instead of doing something similar to what Graal 2002 has:

NPC Code:



addtiledef g2k2tiles.png,world_,0;

They made it so it goes for every level.

NPC Code:



addtiledef maloriatiles.png,,0;

And once Graal loads that for the tiles it won't change unless another NPC uses the 'addtiledef' command.
