A dungeon gripe.

While I'm a large fan of the new fighting styles, and the need to gain "experience" by killing monsters, I can't help but complain that all monster kills from before the introduction of kung-fu are not counted toward your sword kills. This is a large annoyance to myself, who technically lost 42 kills. That's not too many, but when the extra sword moves are added, it's another forty-two I'm going to have to kill again. :|

Anyway, would it be at all possible to add those kills back? Just subtract the sum of the player's current sword, bamboo, and kung-fu from the total monsters killed, and add the remainder to the player's sword kills.

Anyways, no one said you'd lose those kills when you load the sword skills;

No, but it's most likely. The game only recently began counting how many monsters you killed by weapon, so the kills made before the system was implemented would not have been recorded.

Sword kills are monster sword kill though. So it doesn't matter.

...Yes, that's what I'm talking about. I had 42 monster kills before Friday, and they aren't counting toward my sword kill total. What did you think I was talking about, player kills?

Oh.....C'mon I had 28 kills that don't go to sword and I'm not whining. I don't really care. 40 monsters only take about 2 minutes. The monsters are easy now.

Yes, but it's still rather tedious. Having those kills counted would put me at a hundred sword kills; enough to earn all almost all of the moves that will probably be added.

Maybe, and you'd probably only have 2 special attacks then.

I had about 65 sword kills, I'm not complaining. Atleast it let me skip the kung fu stage and get a sword right away

40 kills do not take all that long to get...
