Post Guildhouse :o

This level is for my guildhouse on Rudora, and I need some input ^_^! Could you please judge the level and give me some suggestions or comments to help me improve it. Thanks!

1) You have an attitude problem. Please remove the stick that is lodged in your rectum.
2) I did go back to edit it, but I did not see any option to let me upload it on the edit page. Pardon me. No reason to have a seizure. Fool.

i think its pretty good i'd give it about 8.5/10

the bottom left though i think could use some more detail it seems too plain compared to the rest of the level...but its a very nice level overall

The opening the trees make is too squar, try bringing in some more trees to make it more organic looking.

Fencing is werid.

The three trees at the bottem look too close to being lined up. Try adding a tree to offset it.

Where is the water coming from on top of the lower house? I see part of a waterfall... Is the rain pooring down from that single spot by the bucket?

Stairs don't look good.

Whats with all the doorstep tiles in the middle of the level? eww.

6/10

Beter than most, doesn't really make sence. Feels cluttered.

kekeke~~

Okay, took some of your suggestions. But I shant be uncluttered! Oh, and about the waterfall, it's...uhhh...magical? You go down it into a temple below. The Temple of Manannan Mac Lir So I guess like some divine thingy is making it pour water down into the temple Anyway, some more feedback on this one would be helpful as well ! Thanks~

Beter, I would remove some of the dirt pathway so it feels more like a path, maybe even add a nice walkway in the level aswell, add a few more trees (especialy one at the top to break up that straight line.) shif the two a nudge over, and that fencing doesnt work...

Getting alot beter though.

I uploaded a copy showing what i like and dont like (likes are in blue, changes in red.)

The level looks nice

In my opinyon, the trees are not really a big issue, its the way the grass is textured, I think he is going twords a overgrown look here.

Try to remove alot of the yellow flowers, they stad out in bad contrast with the rest of the tiles.

Try to make the grass and other grass tiles asorted, so they grow with these things in mind
-by tree corders
-by water
-not where people walk
-growing naturaly

in a graal sense that is ._@

and try to edge up the bottom of the houses, it kills the organic overgrown look if you just have a plain old __________ house with all the trees and overgrown sutff around it.

6.5/10
Nothing out of this world
A nice level, nothing too specal
Not ugly as my birds bum.

I like the vines too
might be a bit too dark around the edges, make the edges a dark green rather than black, so its not in such high contrast

Heh, Seeing Rudora having fewer players than servers like Babylon, X, and other crap playerworlds most of the time is pretty sad. Rudora used to be much more popular than those others, Levels don't make or break a server as much as the staff and people who play on it. The server "owner" pking newbies that have 0 kills, and are still looking arround to check out the server by using "update level" to un-pause them and pk them isn't exacily what I would consider good pratice for management, (yes, this is exacily what happened, not once, not twice, but several times on Rudora before I left.) How would you like it if your getting on a server for the first time, you don't want to be pked, and a Co-Owner PK's you by un-pausing you? Needless to say alot of players left. I can't ever remember Rudora having as few players as I've seen lately, and friends tell me the only people online are staff 90% of the time. How nice. If you take a look at the old quests and compare them to the new quests on the server you'll see a huge diference. Like the differance between Classic and X I haven't seen a playerworld with the quality Rudora had yet. They ruined a great playerworld, kudos to them.

Rudora was my favorite server, I'm working on creating a PW that can compare the the old Rudora in design and quality. Please don't accuse me of "attacking" Rudora wrongly, brcause I know exacily what happened, I was there. The current owners even go as far as to say I never did the things I said I did, I have alot of players who can say diferently-- My favorite is being accused of never writing the FAQ Guide and FAQ Application that they actualy SAW and loved... Interesting.

Sorry, I get a little emotional when it comes to Rudora, the new owners not only hurt me, but alot of my friends, including the orrigional owner.

Perhaps I should write that "Running a Playerworld for Complete Idiots" guide...

(Another thing that bugs me are neglected playerworlds run by cluless people who can't even put up a Motd that displays right! :grrr: )

I know I'll get 200 comments for this post, oh well, I don't want to get back into the entire Rudora thing, but arguements are always fun, especialy when I'm right.
