Babylon = New Ownership

Lord Helmut quit Graal earlier today, deleted it and everything.

Well I still will help him with his fto project, so he didnt disappear totally, just left graal. I, Zen, am the owner of Babylon as of now and Coolnick will be co-owner in accordance to LH's wishes.

I'm thinking of seriously redoing some stuff, and I willl have some sort of memorial uploaded to LH heh.

One idea which seems to make alot of sense is not using the 'gralat'. Babylon is a free server and is therefore not immuned as well to hacking like the p2ps are. A big problem is that people would hack money, and that messes up the balance and our economy i guess in a sense. What I sorta want to do is use a string and give it a value for our currency, which would render the gralat worthless and would stop a majority of the problems in that area i think...

I have a really really really big idea that would like redefine Babylon partly, but omg it would almost mean redoing the server lol. So right now im just keeping it in my head. I'll try and get a good discussion with existing staff here soon, and see what everybody thinks about what direction Babylon should head. I'm going to try and be very perceptive to public opinion, more so than my predecessor.

I prefer optomistic replies, but anything goes; what do you guys think about all this?

I'm going to try and get everything situated before i say yes or no to any projects...so lets put that on hold untill I can get a big meeting going somehow, ok Laphromi?

Well i'm not too much into scipting and all but it would be pretty neat if the Gralats were gotten rid of completely and make some money and then you do some scripts like

or something like that. Again I'm not too sure about all of that stuff. It would be pretty neat though.

Well I understand that not everybody will be happy with such a change, but alot of others werent happy with how it was...I'll try to build back up Babylon's reputation lol.

I think LH you were a great owner and what copying? And who was telling you that your were bad, the players? Lets see them create a PW that doesnt emphasize Player Killing and watch what people say to them. Man LH its a shame that your leaving and Babylon had a good reputation for its creativity like the kuros and the Bosses and hunting for instance and since several of the PW went down friday people flooded to our server and kept saying "man this is a great PW why arent there more people?". In any case i'll miss you LH as the co-owner of Babylon. That and im steamed about not "needing" the armor project done anymore.
