actually its "um" you'd be surprised how many times you say it, the spanish equvialant is bueno (or so my spanish teacher says).

when every you try to think of something and you cant get it you say "um" as a reflex. try and see how many times other people do it.

Go to British Columbia and you will see I mean hear that 90% of the people there say eh or ehh or ehhh after everything they say. Kind of Freaky
