Pir stumbled into the rift unaware of the dangers that lay in front of him. He didn't mean to go into the Dark Wood, as did the others before him, but the elders of the village never told them why they shouldn't go.
When he emerged a fish went running by yelling "Long live Zak in all his glory" while a man in thick armour chased him. Pir continued on untill he came to a spring and washed his face off, "Such a nice place.", he thought to him self, as the fish came back with a head in between his shoulders. The fish stoped to look at him, not having much time on their first encounter. Zowgu, as the fish called him self, explained that there was a great war between powers in all the kingdoms had erupted several days before and the blood had ceased to flow since.
After Pir said farewell to the fish he followed an old path to a claering and set up a small spot to stay the night. While he slept he had a dream of honor and valor, a dream of death and betrayal, and when he woke he had an idea, he would go back to Tamir, tell people of this land the fish called "*dunno yet*" and bring back supplies to make a fort, in the fort he would house and train mercenaries to fight beside the kingdoms for free, just for love of the fight...........

kingdom leaders, if you want free role playing mercenaries with a spiffy fort, pm ghost pirate and tell him, and tell me if you like.
