its starting to get to me now i was hacked today and NO ONE did a thing to help, But I did get laughed at by a fool, called craig you aint got any chance of gettin a police tag if u dont listen to pplz man, sometimes i think alot of you are acting big when you fight with some1. If I want to argue with someone i want 2 do it face 2 face, not behind a ****in keyboard i think alot of people out there have the toughest fingers in the world ya know, cause ya see them baggin each other behind there keyboards, and in fact if it was in person I think they would back down, do ya know what I'm sayin

Same thing happened to me. All my money got hacked from me, and who does something about it? No one. I lost a wizard hat, too. I e-mailed Stefan, SnakeEyes, talked to Loriel, BirdBird, and Lamer, and NO ONE did anything about it.

I had to call zorro a lazy ass and threaten to PM stefan/complain before I got any help from him.

But,
he's helped me 3 or 4 times now, so he's OK.

I think the hackers are going after the people that are most known around g2k1, or should I say, "popular." I also think they go after the people with the most hats or the most rare hats. That's why I don't show my hats to anybody and leave just one hat on

yeah, I WAS a hat collector until I did a completely and utterly stupid thing. I used the hat dupe bug and gave all my hats to Kambia.. 35 hats. She sold them all thinking the bug worked and I found out it didn't.. she made 2.4k off of MY hats and only gave me 500g... At least I got something. Half of the bastards on graal wouldn't have cared

To get back on topic....

Maybe if you didn't download any add-ons for graal (which are illegal most of the time) then your accounts wouldn't get hacked.. because thats how they get them. Good example is that mass pmer, anybody who downloaded that is now screwed and you better change your passes if you dont want to lose everything. Just some friendly advice ;-)

I dont too... know what a trojan is and I a not gonna download one so I do all the work by hand.

The thing is we cannot protect the computers of the
players, thats your own task (install a firewall,
don't run cheating programs). We can help with
changing passwords in case your email is not working
anymore, but giving stuff back is like impossible.
Everyone could come and say they got hacked and
want the stuff back, forcing us to duplicate stuff.
The only thing that can be given back are bomys
since no one is selling bomys for 0 gralats if he is
not a hacker. But it's a lot of administrative work,
so better simply protect your computer
(will be good for other things too, like if you want
to buy stuff via the internet via credit card it's better
to protect your computer) and please don't run
cheating programs, also no other tools except
you can really be sure its not a trojan and you have
checked it three times with anti-virus software.
