Hardcoded NPCs

Well I guess it really wouldn't be considered "hardcoded", but, you could make a hardcoded NPCs file that will have NPC weps like go kart in this file and whenever you place them in the level you wont be able to see the script, as the script will be encrypted in the file.. Then you could allow people to test things like gokarts offline without people stealing the script.

well if he does do that i think he should do the bomys like that to
not the pet bomy the player bomy
cause if we cant test stuff with bomys its gonna be kinda hard for people (like me) to make new stuff for bomys when you have no idea if it will work for the bomy

That should definately be considered by Stefan. It would mean we could actually show people how good the scripts are instead of just people thinking there is no script at all....just images.

But the thing is...there will be some people who will be able to decode it.

True, if the scripts get encripted, in a mounth you'll see unencripters to download on some sites

one thing, what you fail to realize is that it will be leaked by other methods LONG before...stefan is handing out recent scripts by the barrelful, which way would a hacker rather take? hack into a PWs FTP (easy) or decode an NPC (hard)
