Era's Future

Lately, Era has seen its share of management problems -- however, over the past week, there has been a major paradigm shift. In the week that we've been on Era, we have overseen a closer, more organized staff team, with projects that have been refocused to concentrate on more important things, and a PR team that has received some much needed attention.

During our time here, several staff members have proved to us that they are capable leaders, and I am happy to know that Era is truly in capable hands now. Of these capable people, one person in particular has stood out to us, and I am happy to announce that MysticalDragon is Era's new manager.

In order to bring in the new management with a step in the right direction, Era's staff team is releasing 1 brand new quest and 2 old quests, 20 new homes, a blackjack casino, boats, market places, new restaurants as well as a new gun shop, hat shop, sparring arena, and condominium -- all in South Ridge.

Even though the entire team contributed in different ways to the release of South Ridge, these are the staff members who were especially involved (and if I missed you, I'm sorry!): MysticalDragon, Fidel Castro, Teacher90, Gear, Rogue, Mercy, BlueMelon, Taylor, Witch, inferno_strike, Steven Hess, Daz, Joker, Klayton and Fewynchan.

Didn't see that coming!

Well, all kidding aside, congratulations MD, you definitely showed you deserved this.

And a round of applause to all the staff members who contributed such effort to bring forth this great update.

Let's keep it rolling guys.

I googled 'now you can sleep' to make some funny joke about how you could, and should, sleep more now. This was the first thing that came up, I think it'll do in place of my humor

no manager brought era to have like 140 players online, i hope staff will always be this motivated to work even if it doesn't involve licking up to the PWA to get manager (nothing personal against MD, this applies for everyone and especially who wasn't chosen as manager)

It's never only the manager, they're just easy to place all the blame on.

1) I now know how PWA run things. Heh.

I remember a day with about 230 people, during battle of the bands, they day the instruments first let out and were showcased beforehand. Was pretty neat, besides all 200+ people being in one room.

nope, no server but really old classic ever had a consistent playercount of over 200. UN and Era would sometimes reach such a peak but it was quite uncommon. on average, back in 2003 anyway, UN, Era, and Valikorlia consistently hit over 100 players. =]
