Gun ideas

You guys low on ideas for new guns? I suggest industrial age weaponry, flint lock pistols, etc, guns from the revolutionary age. Good suggestions, celebrate the release of AS3, upcoming bioshock and fable 4. Just some ideas, we are bored.

Era has been going down the path of some free to play first person shooters for a while now, and it's not helping, really. Adding more and more and more and even more guns to the game won't do any good.

people want new guns cuz:
1. the stats are boring. skilled players are limited by the high average freeze
2. there are many guns which have identical (or almost) stats. there should be way more diversity in guns

how about taking guns out of shop and making them buy from players..cycle the shops out depending on season or something

There's like 80 guns, doesn't get more diverse than that for a 2D game.

Well when you got a 2D game lacking in every other area that needs improvement, ie, gameplay, why not make more guns? Never hurts.

And there is like 106 guns i think, if the stat sheet counted correctly.

Main reason is because i want to dress up like captain jack sparrow... and that i want a flint lock pistol to match

And other revolutionary, industrial age weapons.

Where exactly is the game lacking? From what I've seen, there's actually a lot to do, just not a whole lot of motivation.

The first thing we need to do is make it so all guns have different stats everyday, players will love to complain about this. There is already alot of guns on era. Maybe more unique/limited edition guns would be better.

Graal runs at 20 FPS, you can't get a lot of diversity out of that bullshit.

I think they'll have a world of joy with the flow of complaints.

I mean... the poor people can finally be rich... and those who actually worked for the items will be able to out-merch them and the nubs lose their items from bad trades and those who know how to previously will be back on top...

gives the 10k to 300k nubs a chance of excitement.

In trying to comprehend your objective, here's what I have:

- Allow the poor players to obtain superb weaponry.

I hope this isn't a secret, but if that's the case, you uhm, uh, could've just created a shop in which the weaponry was cheaper.

That seems like a more permanent and stable fix if you ask me. Seeing as a drastic alteration of the statistics does nothing but offset the economy and will eventually lead to the poor being poor and the rich being rich; as its always been.

The most logical route, as exacted in de facto, is to provide economic stability and feasible means for players to work the market and gain items. A route that was precisely taken and well executed by Tim's Administration.

Despite this, a idea similar to this one has been applied in the past, one where the stability of the economy was completely ignored; we called that attempt Jen Era.

Economy is much a part of game play; as much as player-killing or community.

The notion that you must demolish one of these aspects to perpetuate overall game-play is nothing short of paradoxical; as one would think you'd have to first perpetuate one or all of these aspects in order to achieve your objective.

This really has nothing to do with me, at all.
If weapons are being altered on the basis of affecting me, that is really silly; seeing as I'm the least affected by any shift in the weaponry -_-.

That was the initial idea, but like most, it was obviously unrealistic.
New managements are often unimaginative and would rather change the status quo create anything new of their own.
