Possible solution(s) to more PvP battles

GK would be way more interesting if there were more battles on going between players/ guilds/ kingdoms.

But for this to happen there are several barriers holding players back to switch from (P)eaceful mode to (B)attle mode.

Imo the main reason that's holding people back to make the switch is that they feel completely useless/powerless in B-mode, they can't damage other players because of their low physical lvl or the opponents AC is to high.

To get rid of this barrier my idea is to get rid of the AC but not completely.
The AC would dissapear, not function, if a player switches to B- mode.
If this was implemented it would attract players faster to go into bmode.

But for the players in P- mode AC would still have a function to guard themself from the GK monsters.
By doing so the newer players would have less struggling to level up.
To build the defense that the newer players need in order to fight back against monsters, the EA spawn rate should be increased.

I think by doing this the average playercount on GK would rise, GK would become more actractive for people. All this is just a suggestion so if there are any critics on this idea or something like that post them.

Another idea was a thing I saw on Zodiac but they removed it.

A player could challenge another player to a spar, when the spar, or duel, commenced the two combatants' own instance of the level the challenge was issued appears. You cannot leave the level unless both players agree or until one of them dies.

I think this would be AWESOME on GK.

Nice idea but most people have around -50 in pvp to begin with. I have -58 in normal but can buff it to -84 if I really wanted to.

Well like I said, the -50 was just a placeholder since I don't really know what is normal.

I've always thought AC should only be there to affect PVE. It was irritating not being able to hit cell as a young warrior because he stacked AC to the optimum o.o
Didn't understand why some should have 'god mode' (you could call it that since they can kill but can't be killed) over lower levels, the HP difference alone should be enough.

It'd be nice if you gained speed every level - level 110 = +1.100

I think everything should be based on resistances but only to a point, you should always be able to cause damage to another player no matter their resistance/ac. If AC were to be removed and everything relied on resistances, everything should be reduced by the percentage of resistance + 2damage; which would allow lower level players to still stand a chance to kill someone without them out regenerating your hits. Which would make leveling physical good for prepping your weapons and base useful for hp and would allow all players to stand a chance in bmode. Although I do not play as much as I used to this would probably draw me back into playing gk and cause me to go from playing solely as a mage and putting more time into leveling/acquiring gear for melee. It would also allow for new players to go directly to bmode after about level 20 and be able to participate in pvp combat and actually be able to do a bit of damage even if it's not much.

bolded the only thing in there that is important.

You're missing the point, anyone can go b-mode just to "Do a little damage" and "Have a small chance to kill".

But what do they gain out of it? Multiple deaths, perhaps? Loss of platinum coins? There's no motivation to go b-mode, there's no pros.

There's that slight exp boost you're supposed to receive, but even that's not enough and not many newbies are aware of it.

not ever one can go bmode and do a little damage, this could be used to help prevent people from healing or even teaming if the other person is low is kingdom wars. would make everyone have a purpose no matter how little it is.

I say removing AC from B-mode is a good start to attract battles.
From this start many more ideas can be implemented into the battling system to make it even more interesting.
But for now I would be happy to see no AC in B-mode.

Remove physical resist too. At the very least, make it harder to get.
