omfg not another gk-> classic thread

Alright seeing as I will have my internet turned back on within the next week or so I figured I would throw out an idea I had about Kingdoms recently when I was at a friends house playing on a guest account since I can't currently log onto my account. The idea I had was pretty similar to what kingdoms is currently doing. Kingdoms could be moved to the classic tab and still require players to upgrade in order to access kingdom islands, holiday events like the easter house and crypt if ever reopened also people who don't upgrade shouldn't be able to get experience from lords or maps either. Although the level cap would need be removed so that classic players could actually level up beyond level 10. Which might be just enough to hook some new players and make them want to upgrade. The way I look at it is if you want to grind someone to 110 on shell bomys then go ahead and waste 4k hours doing so. This would bring the overall player count up and introduce new players that will want to upgrade instead of wasting time grinding on fail monsters in order to pk. The problem right now is that players have access to pretty much everything but kingdom islands and since they have already experienced everything. Why would they want to upgrade when there is obviously not any significant updates nor anything new, or keep it gold and let the level cap could be removed or even made just like 30 levels higher so the max level is 40 and make it so lords, kingdom islands, maps, ect are all off limits to them.

I think a better option would be to free up absolutely everything. Any payments would be for fashionable clothes (including decorative armour), other goodies like bonus exp etc; the kinda **** u see with games which have a coin shop. Development would ofcourse have to pick up, more money would be raised and more help from a larger playerbase would come to aid in that.
A problem with your idea is the feeling of opression. It would probably increase the number of visitors, but no one will subscribe for content that is lacking. But those who play with full rights and become a member of the community, may pay for fashion ware, or those added extra's.

Ofcourse these are all assumptions.

And that stuff will work. Considering quite a few people USD, people will pay for that stuff. If it means making it completely free to play. Then I would love to see it happening.

It's pretty simple plan to obtain players, with the lifetime classic thing, the thing is doing it under Stefan's terms.

GK is the only good Gold tab server. It sucks by classic standards.

Too bad proposed changes that benefit Graal rarely seem to be listened to.

Graal would need a better flagship server for Kingdoms to be moved to the Classic tab.

That means someone would need to create another awesome server that would rake in cash for Linux Cyberjoueurs.

Wth? There's no 'flagship' server currently... None of them are awsome and i can't imagine they rake anything in from them. Alot of players must be earning more money than GK+Zone make.

Well, Zone is really the most recent flagship server Graal has had, but usually they only get proper attention for so long. Zone kinda sputtered out after Vulcan and Gambet were working on it, and the same goes for Kingdoms after Lance and Jagen had done what they could. In their prime, both servers deserved to be on the gold list. But each server has seen its time pass by, I think.

Switch Zodiac to Gk's spot, and Era to Zone's for a day/week. That'd be totally interesting to see how it works out. Not to mention the complaining and boo hoos. Than again, some players may prefer kingdoms/zone over era/zodiac.

Zodiac's player count is certainly higher on a daily basis, but its quality is still wholly lackluster. However, I could see Era as a suitable replacement for Zone on the Gold list.

This might bring out a reasonable suggestion to have Zodiac/Era replace the corresponding Gold Servers and have Zone/GK reconstructed upon having their place back. I enjoy the idea and I believe this will improvise the need to buy a gold subscription in order to play them servers since they're well liked I'm sure people will upgrade just to play them. This is pretty much a win/win situation since GK/Zone will be getting reconstructed and GraalOnline will be making a tremendous profit from the upgrades.

Are there even still very many players around with lifetime classic? Who would want to play GK?
