I like the mine idea, accept the thing is, those would be inside tiles.

if you look at the underground lake, the walls are all made of mine tiles, hence why i asked.....

how do you know they were custom made, and that the level gen doesnt just have a secret color used for mine walls? eh?

As in the person who made the levels copied and pasted that pattern many many times instead of doing the level one tile at a time...
There is no special color for mines.
