Just drew a basic outline for a "dragon head" as a shield for Samurai.

Need to know a few things, if you guys dont mind;

Samurai's Colors
Samurai's Logo
What do you guys think of it?

I need to know if i need to re-do the outline before I start to color. Also need to know what colors it should be.

Looks like it'd be interesting once finished. and Samurai's colors totaly up to Hatred, but imo I believe red/black/white.

Won't hurt to tell them what I said. We are not going to have a shield in the Samurai set. Also I do have a reason for you to finish making the shield I found a use for it. Anyhow Ill pm you the rest of the details.

Also I will be posting the Samurai Kingdom set by Sunday. I am just having them touched up and edited.

might as well make all the items completely rigged so that you dont need dual RoWs to have good melee... and to prevent 95% of people using magic(<- SO ***)

edit: items need more con... its the hardest thing to get, stop focusing on speed and wc, and resistances you think your kingdom should have. you guys forgot its all about 30/30/30!

Alright just to make things clear I don’t plan on using any of Draenin’s submitted graphics for Samurai kingdom items.

Helm: Str: 1, Con 2, AC 1, Amour 10, Fire Resistence 5
Glove: AC 1, Amour 8, Fire Resistence 5, Cold Resistence -5
Armor: Str 1, AC 5, Amour 10, Fire Resistence + 20
Mask: Dex, 1, Int -1 , Blind Resistence + 10, Cold Resistence - 10 (Attuned Fire)
Cape/Flag: Dex 1, Speed + 2, Deplete Resistence - 10

Also was thinking that if a player were to wear the entire set of a kingdom they would get some kind of boost in stats.

Below I posted the Samurai Gloves. They are slightly different then the ones I posted in another thread and touched up more. Currently my developer is having computer problems which should end very soon.

Little update on this

We're pretty much coming to an end here we're just waiting on Forest to get their submissions in (Which should be coming soon) Also Hatred needs to get his final draft submitted. Which leaves one kingdom.. Pirates, If they don't get something in soon or even hint of any thing coming we'll move forward without them.. We can use the Pirate hat for starters, I believe we all agree it's the best looking thing they've got at the moment.

The pirate hat from the embassy level of Samurai?

I think I had a set of pirate gear made ages ago when I was Vice Governor, it may be on debug still.

i think you should make the shield rounder from the side view, or at least not have it a completely straight edge. flat shields make it look like you have a shield built into your body, or just make sure its offset right

Alright the chairs, they are ok for anyone/kingdom to use. That is what I made them for after all. So you might as well just throw them into there as a side bonus or something.

The shield I think someone made a very long time ago for forest, probably not the best (doesnt look to be) but uhm.. can put it into the pile of images that forest will have to vote on or something.

The other shield is just another misc one someone sent me when they heard we were going to make a new kingdom item one day so long ago.

Agreed, and Zormite has ZSoH, and I believe Forest has two shields as well(Forest Shield, and isn't the glowing green shield a Forest item?). Let CP and Samurai get some more.

No that's kinda missing the point, these current kingdom items will no longer be "Kingdom items" they're simply "Event Items" So Zormite's ZSoH and Dustari's King's Shield will no longer have anything to do with the kingdom it's self.

Hatred I have explained this to you SEVERAL of times... these new KINGDOM items are going to be used by each kingdom to represent them selves. That does not however mean they're going to have awesome stats. The idea here is not to make the current EVENT items useless but to give kingdoms a way to unify their members... Yes they will have SOME stats but don't get your hopes up on the str+2 ac+10 Armor you want... that'd make pmop useless and kill the economy even more than what it is..

My vote is the "trade a piece of armor to a shop on the Kingdom island and get Kingdom themed armor of the same type with the same stats" idea.

I don't see it that way at all. And so what if they don't put rare items through it. The point of these items is not "OMG STATS!" but instead "OMG KINGDOM REP'N".

If you want it for show, just hunt down some chainmail and trade it in. If you want it for stats and show, put something nicer in.

Too bad they don't have reputation or faction points to worry about to get higher ranks or points to spend on these items. Or even events or quests to work at to obtain these items.

As it is now, staff will probably just release a few of each of these items and never release anymore. Unless they are craftable in some way, which is also doubtfull as they will probably require something dumb like diamonds or gold keys.

They were ment to be event off and then made craftable at anytime. Though I like Pojo's idea.. and who says it has to be permenant? They could have it setup just like God given items, you trade a piece of gear in and then it comes out looking like your kingdom set. Though if you drop it or trade it, it takes it's original form again. That would also keep it kingdom locked.
