Although wouldn't you have to give the player atributes then for their different armor and items?
Better armor equals more weight and less mobility.
Certain bows would have different abilities.
Like the normal bow would have 3 different styles:
Normal Bow:shoots a normal arrow
Bomb Bow:has a bomb attatched to the arrow and explodes on contact
Stun bow:upon impact, stuns the target for a certain ammount of time, depending on a strength variable that is.
