I think you should set that date back, else you would have SOME kinds of guns and that time period is too close to the industrial age..if thats what you want then go for it but the whole "work on a server to get money and items" thing is getting old

I wouldn't mind HELPING with levels but being an official staffer isn't what i want. :[

Nothing should be done with New World. None of the files should be released either. You have no right to take something that was going to be great and slap your names on it. Besides NONE of the people that volonteered have the vision and the capability to produce anyththing close in quality to New World.

It always hits me as odd when people attempt to revive old playerworlds, just seems like a way of becoming famous or something with alot less work involved.

If you release the files of New World you will automatically create same thing as what happened when Graal 2001 files were released, a whole bunch of PWs that'll pretend to be the ones who came up with ideas for everything will just take scripts/gfxs and put them online and thus get their playercount up.

What you are doing is morally wrong, it's sort of like diging up the grave, taking out the corpse, attaching a few strings to it and pretending that you have a living thing on your hands, then talking for it, clothing it and living it's life. Stop being jackasses.

And is that guy already making plans as to what he is going to do? That's pathetic. I'll loose all hope in Graal if New World is ever revived (Unless it's by original team).

Ill we have is one tileset , it was a good project that never got done. I dont like reviving old playerworlds, but this server had potential. I want it to look good and really show what graal should be.

Neworld had potiental but it was never finished, you cannot sit there and say that we may not be able to do anything with it.

Unixmad has already expressed at least some that he dosent want it all to be wasted or kept on the bench.

Wasn't unixmad the one who shut it down in the first place? I remember Kyle complaining about the fact that their server was removed.

PS: I have lost all hope in Graal after reading all of this thread, and those of you who are attempting to revive it are a bunch of nubs who just want to get a name so **** you all.

Side Note:

You people are PATHETIC if you think you can all of a sudden 'revive' such a wonderful server. It took them MONTHS to come up with just CONCEPTS of things, you are all off a sudden trying to revive such an in-depth project? HAH. Have fun failing. It's a shame to revive such a project when you don't even have standards even as close as they were on the original project for staff.

Bah, what pisses me off the most is that if they release ANYTHING they'll just ruin New Worlds name! Heck I know nothing about it, yet I do realise how thought through it was, and how much work it took to make what was already made.

At least the best parts were never released or leaked, after the dserver's computer that was hosted by stefan/unix got messed up new_gut and others made even better things than what was leaked.

This thread has seriously pissed me off, the project is D E A D, let it REST, don't ruin it's name people... please

if any of you are decent and intelligent enough to think this through you'll realize it's the right thing to do

Bah we all know Graal Online has become nothing more then harlot, selling anything assosiated with it, having no respect for players or developers, only craving money. Makes me so freaking mad.

Bah, I mean seriusly if I and Kyden ever dump Hartland I am sure niether of us would want someone else to keep making it, because nobody really knows what it's all about. And with the way things to be now, the content that we have slaved to make can be distributed to any beggar that doesn't want to do anything.
