The problem with Saturday is that at 6pm EST there's the weekly Tag Spar tournament on Unholy Nation, with the monthly one being held at 5pm EST once a month. A lot of people who would be potentially attending this event would usually attend the spar tournaments, so it'll clash.

Now this is the positive input I'm looking for. This would definately hinder the idea, so thanks for the tip rufus.

Well, it looks like Sat at 5 east. is out. Anyone have some ideas for when (day/time) this thing could be hosted? Keep in mind that we're trying to make it open to as many as people as possible, which includes people from the UK and from Cali (like a 10 hour time difference, so it's tricky.)

CTF isn't even nostalgic, it's one of the more recent additions to the server and the original map is one of the least played on. It's just fun.

also ctf is SO awesome on that hit detection, i always set up my alarm clock so im never gonna miss it

Apparently you're the one that needs to let go of the nostalgia, because as far as I know this isn't an attempt to raise the playercount of a server that isn't even on the serverlist. The hit detection suits the gametypes more than default probably would, UN's CTF sucks for example, so what's the problem?

actually, classic is a great server. i don't know why people don't play it more often. it'd be really fun if it had a high playercount

There's no hat economy and 100 lame npc's to trap most of graals playerbase in.

Not to mention it wasn't heavily content filled with quests/miniquests or didnt have many items (I mean real items and not lame magic spells)

Wow thanks to heroin + rufus bickering my thread is being destroyed.

Can we get back on track and get some positive input on how to make this idea work? Someone answer my question about what times would be good to attempt this.

Mystic, are you saying that there should be a hat economy and 100s of useless NPCs to lame with? Because if that's the case you shouldn't be working on Classic at all. You should be on US with everyone else.
