G3D looks different...At least from what I saw from the preview I played a few years ago...

That's 'cause it's not G3D?
He said it was a program he was testing for his friend.
I think that's the kind of 3D Graal should go for, I dunno, it looks different, yet still decent. Maybe it's because I like low-poly for some reason.
EDIT: Speaking of, I'd like to see someone make some texture's, apply them to 3D stuff like that, and make tiles from the 3D stuff, so that perspective and such would be applied through the 3D instead of trying to replicate it.

yeah i think its one of the easiest 3d programs out now :O
its most the same in my program you can walk around with a player but i have no graphics for them
cant gfx sprites

3D isn't very hard to pull of really with the right tutorials. In fact it's more strenuous and irritating than it is hard.

Low poly is something that is good to be a fan of in most cases as it shows the basics of 3D but you can do some pretty cool stuff with low poly. Especially skinning low poly models with pixeled textures.

Something like some stuff Kenneth Feijer or whatever does.

I just started a download of the sketchup that Dusty recommended. I hope it's simpler than 3Ds Max, using 3Ds Max without at least 5 proper tutorials is like a piss in the dark.
