When I created an improved version of the Event System classes sometime last year, it included a variable for the Event Name for specific purposes such as if an event name was ____ then these things aren't usable: ________. Perhaps you should somehow join to that in EVERY event, not just the ones I put them in, or take a leaf out of that book and have a variable in the announcement command (or even an ET "Hosting" GUI) in which messages cannot be manually set, and the default announcement is
"<Event Name> is being hosted by <Host>! Prize: <Prize entry>. Player limit: <1-unlimited>", etc.

I don't agree with you at all. The event is simply a chamber, FULL OF GAS, and explosions and the last one out gets the event coin. It simply describes the event. No point to anything in history, get over it.

It depends how much you draw into it. I think alone, it's alright, but as soon as people start bringing in Holocaust references, it's quite easy to start offending people.

I think "gas chamber" on its own has pretty strong connotations that you can't remove by just ignoring that they exist.
