Why should staff get anything? They should have to earn their weapons and money like the rest of the players, playing the game. Giving out weapons just seems like it will go into a downward spiral of corruption and biasness.

Staff aren't getting paid to just sit there, and it won't be large amounts, either. What James is trying to say is that staff lose out on their playing time because they're busy developing. So we'll try to figure out a reasonable amount to charge for the level changes, and then only a portion of that will go to the staff that work on it. A project that takes the LATs an hour means an hour of lost play time. It's sort of compensation for their time.

This does NOT mean, however, that we will be giving some sort of salary to our staff or anything like that. Like James said, no staff will have set attributes, etc. No staff will just get infinite money. It'll be small amounts to make the game more fair for their lost time.

In a sense it was Frankie that started Atrius. He and I discussed creating an alternative gun server a while back, and we came up with the name Zeliatic. It didn't get that far, and with Madj as a hired staff member, he took Zeliatic and formed it into Atrius. He didn't steal anything. In fact, Frankie helped him do it. This was around the time when James then took Atrius and formed Trinity, the cheap knockoff that was always one version lower than Atrius. That's where I discovered my skills in the gani department, and also where I learned my basic scripting.

Sad thing was, Trinity kicked Atrius off the "popular" list, because I guess Trinity stole alot of Atrius's staff, and their players... (To be honest, they weren't anything amazing BACK THEN)

Sorry all you Old-Atrius lovers.. I just think this "new" Atrius has alot more fun going for it, rather then old Atrius.. I guess thats why Atrius always was one-kick higher in morale, and players.. But not really development, compared to Icarus, and the other Atrius..

Props to you guys though, the old Atrius staff have beaten atrius several times with Icarus, if you kept going with it you would have thrown era off classic, y'know..

Anyways ideas part #2- Short:

Option Log:
With the command of pressing 'O'. There will be an option log, from here. You can click 'Stats', 'Quests', 'Gangs', 'Business's', or 'Close'.
Stats will show your Kill Bounty Level, and Kills/Deaths also your leveling expereince. Quests will show all available quests. Red will be not completed. Yellow will be started and Green will be completed. Gangs will show all the gangs their leader and all the people in that gang. Business's will show all the business's all the employees and of course the owner. It'll also say if they are hiring or not.

Cool Options:
Atrius will have a gserver chat room called Buying/Selling. Here they will be able to speak with other players who are buying/selling items. It's pretty much a chat room, instead of massing constantly. Yea you can still mass if your buying/selling an item, But here you'll be able to find EVERYONE buying and selling an item.

Also, there will be a nice weather system and daynight system. Both optional.
The weather system will bring sunny days, rainy evenings, and everything else..

I have alot of store and we have a pretty nice staff team going. Should be farely playable in 2-3 weeks, depending on staff activity!

Progress:

Currently working on our very own MUD System in GS2. So that all of our weapons are compiled into a simple few. This is going to take Atrius scripting beyond expectations.

Our overworld progress is completed, but me and a few others are decking it out, making it very nice with no errors and every level with effiency.

We are shooting for gold status with Atrius, instead of the measily hosted. Considering we have the custom bodies.
