If you could have more than one trial account (like making one immediately after one expires) this would defeat the purpose of a trial account or the need to upgrade, wouldn't it? Why pay when you can go on like that forever? Graal is not free and to do it like that would make it free and so the game would go bankrupt at that rate..

No.

People still play on trials and it takes more than 30 days to actually like graal. It's only restricting players more, just like p2p did when it was first introduced. -_-

Stupid Peoples

Trial Account have 1 reason only. To see if the game will work properly on their computer. No other reason for them. Trials shouldnt be able to save, Hell a UN manager got fired for making a trial saver, if you recall.

Hrm, my idea is similar to Moongods I suppose. I didn't bother reading this thread, so excuse my ignorance.

Trial accounts are changed from 'limited' accounts to 30-day based accounts. They can play with their newly made 30-day trial account with no limitations. After the 30 day trial is over, their account becomes disabled until it is upgraded. They wouldn't be allowed to create a new trial account either, because the website would log their IP and block it from making future accounts. This way, they either pay... or no play.

*rotates his IP through his subnet mask and obtains 1530 accounts*
Simply put: IPs can change, easily. If they used some sort of wildcard mask to attempt to filter it better, that could end up filtering out people who have never even created accounts in the first place.

IP is not reliable. It changes, can be changed, or can be "cheated". I.e you play a lot at school/sign up at school.

Unless you ip ban an aol user I dont like it

Even so, the chances of people wanting to continously restart on servers with new accounts is daft. Also, I'm positive the number of people who would try to exploit it would be low, considering it would be a tedious task to keep rotating your IP and what not. :/

It's fine the way it is today. Why change it to something worst than restricts your freedom to play even more than they already have?

My idea does not change the fact it is a "trial account" with limitations and afterall that is what a trial account is , they have limitations do they not? I may have changed the limits somewhat but it is still limited and they still have to upgrade whereas now they don't have to upgrade at all and can play forever on a trial account. My version removes that option and they will have to upgrade within 30 days or they cannot play Graal so my version is better for Graal money wise.
