Make Graal Classic a Trial saving server?

It would be cool for Graal Classic to let trials save, so they can taste a bit about what Graal is....And the fact that i want the days where there were 200+ people logged on Graal Classic at *GASP* THE EXACT SAME TIME back

It's a server that doesnt even have an npc server

Come on, it would be fun, and the NEWies would be less NEWBish if they had a trial server! MAYBE...

That's going to change soon. (Oh wait, it was supposed to change "soon" about a year and a half ago too!)

As for the idea... I would personally like that, as it would bring more people to Graal (well... probably only Classic, but who knows?). I don't think the people who PLAY Classic regularly would like it at all, except for the extra newbies to torture and kill.

A lot of people play classic, we don't want newbs running around slashing uh, pausing, crap like that, Classic is fine as it is.

I think trials should have a certain ammount of time on a server in which their attributes save...Like maybe 1-2 weeks.

How would it be meaningless? The player would have enough time to look around the playerworlds,collect items ect. Then if they like whats on the playerworld, they'd pay.

Exactly. The ideas here are great, but I don't think Stefan/Unixmad would approve of the one where you get 1-2 weeks free. Because people could just keep making accounts and trading items to their other accounts (if the server has an item dropping thing). I like the idea of trials being able to save on Graal Classic, though.

I actually LOVE this idea, seeing as how i've mentioned it before... just think, classic would attract newer players, making a good community, then those players would join together and start their own worlds and explore new ones with pay accounts, this would also increase the popularity of the game, which would in turn join more players together and cause them to pay for more stuff! Eventually building a giant fanbase.

I don't see why anybody would be against this idea on classic, it would only bring good things.

I've seen countless complain about the few newbies that're there already. Bringing more would no doubt add to the whining. Not that their opinions are relevant.

mm what if the trial accounts could play free till they reach 50 or 100 onlinetime or something?

Personally I think trial accounts should be able to save just like a normal account BUT like trial software it is limited to a certain predetermined set time ( like 30 days or less) and then the account is automaticly disabled until you upgrade it. And also to keep people from abusing this feature no one may have more than one trial account at a time. Accounts would be monitored as to IP, Credit Card info, PayPal info and all info relating to an account and if a match to another trial account further investigation would be warrented to see if the person is abusing it or just has some of the like info on his/her account. ( Like Family using basicly the same info for different accounts) Also you may not have another Trial account if you still have an open account disabled for not upgrading. All accounts you have must at all times be current, either upgraded or within the time alloted for trial accounts.
