What's wrong about getting 'huffy puffy' over a game? People DO have feelings you know, whether it's being said in the real world or on the internet (in writing), it still hurts. Emily has every right to get all 'huffy puffy' over what is being said and done to her. Players promoting content that is subversive to gameplay, promotes cheating, or any other hacking activities risk immediate ban. GraalOnline will have no tolerance for such activities.

I see things in a different perspective then alot of you do, I am a parent of 4 kids, 3 are girls.
I would not sit back and watch my kids be abused in any way, not verbally, sexually, physically, mentally, etc....
I would do what I had to do to protect them.
Read the rules, follow them, or simply dont play.

I find it sad that so many teenagers today lack common decency (and dont tell me they act different on the internet, it dont fly). No one anywhere deserves to be abused in any way, think about it.....

Possibly.

The reprocussions may not be the same on graal as in real life, but I think if the punishments were harsh, alot of it will stop. I know it slowed way down on Npulse when I finally got sick of it, and started banning people permanently for it. If you warn them once, and they continue....it is pretty obvious they shouldn't be interacting with people on Graal, and really aren't here to play the game, so why bother with them?

To the canned response "You can ignore it," I have this to say: You can also ignore it if someone is merely using words to do so in life, but that doesn't make it any less illegal. Sorry, whoever's arguing that sexual harrassment's okay, but it's not. By definition, there's no way that it could be.

I was basically going to reply the same thing. Sure, in real life, you can walk away from it also in all those ways, but as you said, it is still illegal, and I would prefer to not allow it to continue to go on.

Ok I don't know if this was posted because I didn't want to read the whole thread but...truthfully Sexual Harassment doesn't have to be stuff in a sexual manor. If you say bad things to people and they find it offensive it can be consider Sexual Harassment. Saying something to a guy for example like oh you have a small *****. Even though that is not sexually oriented that is sexual harassment. Or calling a girl and ****. That is also sexual harassment yet that is nothing do with sexual content necessarily. So you don't have to be refering to sexual stuff to consider it sexual harassment.

Edit: Also with this whole situation Darlene and Emily are right for the fact that the maturity level on Graal is dropping as Sexual Harassment on graal becomes more and more common throughout playerworlds. I would also like to comment on how I have gone on some playerworlds in the past and see girl posing has Prostitutes or Hookers in the game or guys in the game posing as Pimps. Come on seriously that is just ridiculous.

in real life it would hurt more then being called it on graal.

First of all, you dont get to tell people how they feel when someone says something to them on Graal, you dont get to tell people that it doesnt affect them as much on Graal as in real life. Just because you feel a certain way about things, doesn't mean others should feel the same way, or that they are wrong in the way they feel. Thank God there are some people who have common sense, and common decency to know this kind of behavior is just as wrong on the computer, as it is in real life. I dont get why it is so hard to understand that the words said mean the same thing here as in real life, and it is no different.

Trust me, most of the kids saying those things are not 9 years old, and a 9 year old is capable of having respect for other people, there is no excuse for this kind of behavior, no matter what you say. The fact that they are immature makes no difference, the fact that they may or may not be 9 years old, makes no difference, the crap still needs to stop, period.
I realize that these kids are doing this, probably because they can get by with it on the computer, and not in real life, and they think it is just so funny, it is about time people showed them that it isnt funny, and they cant get by with it on Graal.
There have been some saying things like that, I know for a fact are adults, which makes me extremely ill.

The simple truth of it is...if it isnt dealt with strictly, it is going to continue to get worse.
