Maybe it's just your choice of items, or maybe your charm is already maxed out and you're not showing it which would explain why there is no change :P

Shopping lowers prices, my experience it seems like adding 2 charm

A quote from a certain CF website

Most items will have a value based on their "standard" cost multiplied by a factor based on your charisma (see table primary stat effects). You can never look good enough that you can buy stuff then sell it at a profit.

Some notable exceptions to the above:

Gems will always be sold or bought 3% more or less their standard value.
For magic stuff value is 3 *(magic)^3 of standard value.
Unidentified items value is 2/3 of standard.

It could be possible some items were changed to the price is always the same, so that could be the reason too.

take off mithril
11 charm
take off sorigs which have cha-10
21 charm
2 RoBs
27 charm...

Already explained this in another thread. Shopping is a gamble, it will lower prices, keep them the same, or make them higher. If you have 30 grace, it won't make the prices any lower, so shopping makes them the same or higher.

The game must really not like you. I get 24 cha and the price is over 1 plat per food last time I checked. And shopping isn't a gamble, because when I got it, prices only went down on what i was buying and up for what I was selling.

Well since nobody knows, I'll throw out some ideas.

Maybe there's a price cap on items...which would defeat the purpose of 30 charm but?

I don't know, is anyone trying to figure this out? I'm still out of a gold key here...

Let me summarize this topic and end the confusion by stating that lord parts always sell for the same price, regardless of your charm. Try this method with another item, such as an IWD, and I think you will be surprised.

Maybe if you tried my OTHER screenshots, you'd see I did it with a piece of food and a t-rex heart.

What's there to be surprised about?
I buy improvement potions at 490 plat at 24 charm and 27 charm.

We've already confirmed it's not the items I'm testing.
