Charm
1 Attachment(s)
Well, I decided to do quests again, and this time I'm getting 30 charm, since I get 26 already...so 4 keys should be nothing.
Well, I got my 26 charm ready, and checked on the selling price on some mushrooms, then I used the potion to get 27 charm, checked the selling price...and it was the same. So in the end, I wasted a gold key and my time...and screenshot is proof I guess. Notice first sell price, then the "You seem to look better." message, then the same selling price. |
I heard before that if you have 30 grace things sell for less than when with 25 and buy for more, i tihnk its a bug, i dunno
|
I hope you mean charm there. :megaeek:
|
yea, in my mind i was thinking about grace, i ment charm, sorry

Back to the topic!
I want my gold key back or charm fixed ....or my sexyness will go to waste :( |
Three huge mushrooms... with 15 charm I get about that exact same amount, maybe it's just the item you tried...
|
Certain items (special quest items, gems) sell for the same no matter what charm you have. No refund is necessary. :)

Ok, here's a better example? 24 to 27 charm, no change.
Ignore the HAH of the file...I just randomly type names for screenshots. |

Have shopping?
I remember someone told me prices go up if you have high charme and shopping... |
Yes, I do have shopping.
Now I've heard many things about shopping. Examples being: 1) Prices change, that's the obvious one 2) It adds 7 invisible charm I don't know if 2 is true, but it would hold true here since my charm at 24 would be 30 from that invisible 7...but if it's not true then that wouldn't explain it? |

Well it would be nice to know since everyone tells you to get shopping -_-
So two questions are out there: 1)What's with my charm? 2)What does shopping do? |

Shopping lowers prices, my experience it seems like adding 2 charm A quote from a certain CF website Quote:

Here's second screenshot

Already explained this in another thread. Shopping is a gamble, it will lower prices, keep them the same, or make them higher. If you have 30 grace, it won't make the prices any lower, so shopping makes them the same or higher.

neither of those posts explain why my charm has no effects past 24 -_-

Well since nobody knows, I'll throw out some ideas.
Maybe there's a price cap on items...which would defeat the purpose of 30 charm but? I don't know, is anyone trying to figure this out? I'm still out of a gold key here... |
Let me summarize this topic and end the confusion by stating that lord parts always sell for the same price, regardless of your charm. Try this method with another item, such as an IWD, and I think you will be surprised.

Try again. |

What's there to be surprised about?
I buy improvement potions at 490 plat at 24 charm and 27 charm. We've already confirmed it's not the items I'm testing. |
