The bizarre thing is. 600 EC... Now we have like 40 people saving for EC's.. Soon enough we going to have every tom, **** & harry with op guns.. (It's close to that as it is)

It's becoming ridiculous.

Lol I remember when CE would stock a couple of their weapons every week or something like that. Everyone would be inside and spamming the command to buy the weapon, hoping to get it.

I noticed a limit has been added to the guns in the EC shop, is there going to be a limit on the ones in SR?

A tiered loyalty weapon system, similar to ours but just improved upon
at 50 points you get a random handgun
at 100 a random smg
at 200 a random rifle
at 350, the current 4 random loyalty weapons or something new.

All of these guns dont have to be GOD MODE OP SWAGGERJACK, but the fact that any new player can get 50 gang points in a week, will give them an incentive to raid more.
I like this idea quite a lot. I'll talk it over with Seth when I see him.

It's an auction on the actual gun its self rather than manually auctioned.
I also like this idea of auctioning guns and letting players decide how good it is (how well I balanced it). It's pretty democratic.

The Tempest and Sable are shop guns, just like the rest. They won't be limited, and they won't be going away.

People would be bidding on something they wouldn't have used prior to actually winning it. They wouldn't be deciding how good it is, they would be deciding how much they're willing to bid on something that's almost guaranteed to be a nice return on investment, regardless of how good the gun is, since it'll be three of a kind.

Actually you will get people who over pay on things and people who like you said want to make an investment and over 3 purchases this will balance it out. Who said it was 3 of a kind? I never said that. I said the 3 first purchases will give you an average of how much the gun is worth from the first 3 purchases and then you set the price at that.

Yeah, one Sable and one Tempest were both auctioned only a short time ago, I can without a doubt say that they're not worth the full 1.2mil in shop. (Which is actually a good thing for Ishmael, hes balanced them enough to be tier 3 weapons, just not amazingly balanced weapons of a new tier like he intended) Tempest; It could be good in the right hands but it will never be able to compete against multiple players. I've also gotten to try the Sable off of the fellow who bought it, seems fairly balanced but I wouldn't pay the full shop price on it either.

I feel like the Sable is just competing against the top tier 3 weapons and that would only be because of the damage, rushing with that thing could land you a few kills against the top players but they would soon be-able to play against it. I feel like with higher freeze weapons we need a bit of spread, it helps the gun spar for you to compensate for your lack of equal movement speed against someone using a tier 3 weapon. I would give it a bit of spread and add a few extra bullets to the clip, although the 27 damage is quite good, the 2 extra over a BAR (almost a million dollar difference) isn't the ideal option for me.

The Tempest feels like one of the lower tier 3 weapons (Kinda reminds me of the Ove Glove, although the Ove Glove is in my opinion one of the best guns, it just doesn't get the recognition and if we plan to add more guns of this tier I can quickly see the Tempest falling into the same position). It's fire-rate is the only thing going for it. I feel like its missing something, It's essentially a 20 damage MP5SD that shoots 13 bullets rapidly then takes 6 seconds to reload whilst running around. I don't doubt given to the hands of the right person the Tempest could be amazing, shooting at the right time to essentially never need to stop shooting but it's just not for me, being one of the top tier players I consistently get rushed by multiple players during PK and I just couldn't compete against it with this weapon in the BH PK that was hosted not long ago.

They're both definitely nice guns but far from a whole new tier like claimed to be. I could see some changes being done to further push them to being better but I would hate to see them get so good that everyone sells their weapons and just buys these out of the store. Although that may be what we need, I mean; with 1 of each circling around we need them to be quite over powered to push players to buy them out of the store, we can always think about fixing them up to be more balanced once it becomes an actual issue.

Hey all, so in addition to the nerfs/buffs to the guns I already announced, I'm going to be tweaking two of the guns I released last week.
Tempest is getting a buff to its energy regen rate and its energy per shot.

SMGPK is getting a damage buff up to 18.

Really like the feel of Tempest after your tweaks, definitely a gun to watch out for over-all in PK and Spar. Also definitely worth the money now.

it feels slower now, and why does it have spread now too? . I would honestly revert back to the old energy stats for it to perform like it did before.

After extensive testing i've come to the conclusion that the spread is different for every direction that you shoot.... idk how that managed to happen. when shooting right its around s6 level of spread, shooting left probably around ms level, up and down around navy level....

The gun is great how it is, It caters to all styles and is a very big threat for PKing and Sparring. You may have the only one as is but people will buy them out of the store or we might see another auctioned this weekend (Total speculation, don't get excited), so I don't think we should alter the stats to cater your taste. I tested the gun after the buff, extremely good, exactly what I imagined it to be when first hearing of its release and was what I expected when buying it myself in the auction. I'm tempted to buy one from the store now and I would be loosing 200K from selling it to begin with.

Rogue had to script the spread from scratch because the gun itself is completely different to other guns. A thousand things were being done at once in relative to Gun changes today, from what I could see just watching them scrambling around. Easily fixable and glad its been brought to attention before a few were circulating around.

I do have to give some props to Ishmael though, when I saw him announced as Guns Admin I have to admit I was a bit skeptical that we might go down the wrong path. I'm extremely happy as a top-tier player with the work he has been doing. The changes he has made caters to everyone and not just the rich, something we have all been waiting a while to see.

Hopefully we can see a few more guns shot into the economy and not a lot of them being top tier.

This was definitely not intended. I apologize for the inconvenience, bud. As Godzilla said below, we basically made the Tempest from scratch. And while we thought we nailed the bugs out, we obviously missed a few. We'll get it straightened out

I appreciate the support. As I mentioned in another post, I'm definitely going to be focusing on releasing new guns at all price ranges (in fact the next release is going to be pretty big)

I actually noticed this when first tinkering, thought I fixed it (when you first pointed on facing right didn't spread at all).

I'll adjust it.
